1 out of 5 eggsReturn it before its too late.

Pros: Thin, light, 3D screen. Fantastic laptop, if you can keep it from overheating.

Cons: Hot, terrible cooling, issues left and right with the hardware. Mostly heat issues.

After my warranty expired the computer began experiencing very hot temperatures of 85 degrees Celcius while idling! Loading any thing on the computer that required more than idling resources, also known as solitaire or more, the computer began heating up very quickly. Watching a movie on it would raise the temperature to 100 degrees Celcius in minutes forcing the computer to shut down to protect it from overheating.

Not just that, but the internal trayless disc drive stopped working less than a month after the warranty expired. There is nothing better than losing your Blu-Ray drive on your computer. Well, except not losing it.

Other Thoughts: Overall, this laptop would be amazing if it didn't overheat to the point where you couldn't use it.

However when HP told me it was going to cost me a stupid amount of money to get the issue fixed I gave up on them and began to try to fix it myself. Rethermaling the CPU and GPU did nothing impressive, and physically modifying the case did not do much to improve airflow as the stock case barely has any vents for its size and power.

Go buy a quality product from somewhere else, return your HP product immediately and get something from a company that isn't just about taking your money.
