5 out of 5 eggsHappy with G7

Pros: Fast; nice large screen and great display; quiet, runs pretty cool; large HD and 4GB memory. I have had this computer for about a month now and am really happy with it. It boots quite rapidly and also shuts down pretty rapidly. Price, including rebate was only $450, which is pretty amazing for what you get.

Cons: Would prefer non-glare screen, and since I was using XP until I got this computer, I am still getting used to Windows 7.

Other Thoughts: Am also getting used to things happening with Win 7 that I didn't intend caused simply by doing little things inadvertently. For example, when I want to scroll down using the arrows on the right side of the screen and accidentally get the cursor too low, the program disappears and shows the desktop (in XP you had to click on the Show Desktop icon). Soon found out how to turn that off. Other similar things, but am getting up to speed.
