1 out of 5 eggsDo not buy!

Pros: Nice screen when working.

Cons: Major hardware issues regarding charging that are known to HP. The device will eventually put itself into a loop and not recognize the charger or any other charger. You will in effect have a device that cannot be repaired and is not under warranty.

Other Thoughts: Read up on the white question Mark battery issue and think twice before buying. This will effect you tablet no matter the software on the device. HP and new egg will not care after 90 days, despite this issue being well known. HP will charge you twice the original price for another refurbished unit with another 90 day warranty. Just go buy something else so you don't end up with a useless device unable to access important information and out the cost of purchase

4 out of 5 eggs

Pros: HP OS was meh, but could totally install Android ICS on it. Works well on wifi but I don't really use it, don't find a purpose to tablet computing.

Cons: Its not a windows surface, just another device to put next to my broken macbook pro's.

Other Thoughts: Luckily it was a refurb. It works fine, I just don't have a use for it. I was able to tether it to my phone though to get on the internet. That was cool I guess.

5 out of 5 eggsHP Touchpad refurb

Pros: Refurb arrived like a new product. Build and material quality very high. Using CM9, this is a very feature-rich device for a great price. Rooting and installing the CM9 android took a bit of time, but the online docs are excellent, so no problems at all. Great sound and video with Netflix. No problems at all after 3 months of vigorous usage.

Cons: A very reflective touchscreen makes readability poor with bright backlight or out-f doors. It's a great night-time e-reader, but don't bother taking it to the beach.

Other Thoughts: It's all about price. The Nexus will make a lot of people think twice about buying a Touchpad, but if the price is in the (very) low 200's, I'd recommend it as the only reasonable choice for a 10 in. tablet.
CM9 tweaking is good fun.

4 out of 5 eggsAwesome!

Pros: Hardware in this thing is pretty much up to par with the $400+ brands, speakers and sensitivity on this tablet are excellent very good response and pretty loud. Love that its port to charge is universal so its not hard to find if you happen to lose it. If you change it to android cm9 it's perfect though ever since i got that CM9 os I never get bored and have endless things to do as opposed to webos from hp

Cons: Doesnt have any other form of storage or a usb for that matter. the web os for hp sucks, not really many apps and the internet browser for it doesn't play many types of flash content and videos. thats about it

Other Thoughts: Overall great tablet for the price competing hardware wise with more expensive tablets. Only thing i dont like is no usb, no extra storage, and the OS it comes with doesn't give you many options, but just install android CM9 os and your golden

5 out of 5 eggsAwesome Project Product

Pros: I imaged mine with Android AOKP right after I got it. Took about 15 minutes.

This makes an amazing Android tablet for the price. Fast, affordable and will then run netflix.

Cons: Didnt come with Android already installed.

Other Thoughts: I bought mine used.

4 out of 5 eggsMust put android on it!!

Pros: Ive had it for about 3 months and haven't seen anything major happen yet with it, except when I use unstable settings it has rebooted on me, but cant blame it for that since I'm still learning to tweak it. You definitely need to over clock the Web OS side or install Android to make this device worth it IMO. Both OS are very easy to use but droid has a lot more apps so I tend to only use that on it and much easier to get accustomed to if you have a droid cell phone. Also the sounds is great and using the the Android side I've been able to play many different types of movie formats such as mp4,mkv,divx,xvid.

Cons: Not a perfect refurbish job as other reviewers have stated the rubber doesn't flush evenly with the housing and I also see dents in the rubber possibly when they pry it out to fix.

Other Thoughts: I have yet to experience the cracking around the speakers and the mic, as many users online have stated. I also do not use any special case yet, just the cheap it came bundled with on Newegg, but I am concern the plastic does feel cheap. Might be good to sell or give to relative. But installing droid is definitely much more fun and Web OS is not so bad, but only after you over clock it IMO.

4 out of 5 eggsHP Touchpad 32 GB

Pros: 1. Core hardware components are of very good quality.
2. CM9 installs easily! Then you get the entire Android market to play with.
3. Device had virtually no signs of use/ damage - despite being a refurb.
4. Newegg shipping rocks - as usual!

Cons: The only con I saw so far was with the USB data/ charging cable. This is one of the flimiest cables I have seen! The end that connects to the touchpad got bent within a week (probably a result of plugging it in without being perfectly horizontal), and that resulted in the cable refusing to charge unless I held it at a peculiar angle. Easily fixed by ordering a $1.40 cable from an online retailer - which takes daily use with more aplomb.
I would expect better quality from HP - but I guess they really needed to cut costs, so skimped on the cable. :)

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Android Tablet

Pros: This "refurbished" tablet was in such good condition that I actually didn't remember that it was a refurb until I looked at the item description when writing this review. I installed Cyanogenmod9 right away with no issues, so I can't say much about WebOS, but mostly everything on Android works perfectly and quickly.

Cons: Really none at all. The camera doesn't work in CyanogenMod9 yet, but that most likely will be fixed in time. One issue to look out for is the storage space on the tablet. I ordered this 32GB model, but Newegg actually sent me the 16GB model instead. Not a problem with the tablet itself, so I won't take off stars. Just be careful that you get what you pay for.

Other Thoughts: Maybe I'll boot into WebOS one day if I get bored.

5 out of 5 eggsI Love It!

Pros: dual core, IPS screen, Bluetooth, Rooted, HP Quality, easy to upgrade/Overclock & load Dual/Triple boot OS, plenty of support & different Kernals/Mods (Rohms) & info available at CM & XDA, ect.
full Play store available after installing cm9 & spoofing Id.

Cons: No support/upgrades for web os after 3.0.5 or from HP, your on your own after warranty runs out.

Other Thoughts: updated to web os 3.0.5, Loaded uberkernal & ock'd to 1.512/192 & flashed cm9 Tenderloin ICS 4.0.4 nightly 5/29, running dual OS just as smooth as silk. Installed Goo Manager & TWRP and now able to flash to any available kernal or nightly i want with just a tap, absolutely beautiful, my Tablet is running smooth & fast with high benchmark scores...looking forward to Jellybean, i love it.
