Pros: Fast, no issues. Keyboard and touchpad work like a charm. I have some issues with laptop keyboards, but this one is amazing. Nice work HP. Shame it just became discontinued.

Cons: None what-so-ever

Pros: It has two, thats right 2 hard drive bays i was able to find a hard drive caddy and added an SSD moved the 750 GB to the secondary bay and set up the boot off the SSD also changed the ram out for corsair vengeance 16 GB everything worked with out any complaint.

also for the reinstall of windows to the SSD there is a driver and software folder on the root of the factory HDD it contains all the stuff u will need.

Cons: DO NOT DO THE BIOS UPDATE FROM HP'S WEB SITE!!!

i had to send it in to have the mother board replaced, a huge wast of time.

AVOID BIOS UPDATE AT ALL COST!!!

Other Thoughts: with all the upgrades a full keyboard and mouse with the tv plugged in by HDMI it still gets around 8 to 10 hours of battery life i thought was a good perk, was worried i would kill battery life with the add-ons.

am still looking into adding a dedicated vidcard to the system.

Pros: Great audio, great visuals, fast loading, long battery life

Cons: Somewhat awkward battery.

Other Thoughts: This is a great machine for someone who does moderate computing and gaming. The sound (Beats Audio) is absolutely fantastic. The visuals are also very good: I watch a lot of online streaming movies and even though my internet connection is rather slow the computer pumps out the best picture possible. Also, on my old computer, I could get maybe 2-hours out of my battery...with this computer I could get at least 7 (that's without running much).

Only problem I forsee is carrying this around. The battery is a little unwieldy and probably wouldn't fit well in a standard carrying case. It has a purpose: it props the computer up for better ventilation. But it digs a little bit into your lap.

All in all, this is a good, solid machine if you're using your laptop like a desktop.

•Keyboard with backlight
•Blu-ray writer & SuperMulti DVD burner
•WINDOWS 7 ULTIMATE 64-BIT

Well to end this, I hope HP comes out with a Customize & Buy for this, I think it would sell very well

Pros: Large display, long batter life, runs cool, good price.

The software allows you to use a USB flash drive to create a system restore backup. You will need 17 GB free on a flash drive to make the backup.

I ran this on battery for 5 hours under heavy usage with the screen on full bright. I browsed the Internet, installed several programs and even ran disk defrag that took over an hour.

Cons: None that I see.

Other Thoughts: Another reviewer climes there are sharp edges on this. There is no sharp edges.

This is my second HP laptop and I could not be happier with their laptops and their technical support is always better than I have experienced with other laptop manufacturers.

Pros: Good build quality,not great. Very fast for what it is. Like I said will work for my needs. Its not a gaming rig, but will try some games later.

Cons: All plastic, talked to hp before I bought and the guy said it had the brushed metal. Has some sharp edges. Not going to cut me, but makes you stop real quick to look.
Hard drive is really hold this thing back in my opinion. Its only 5400rpm should have came with 7200rpm.
I do not consider this a con, but it does come with the big battery that sticks out and tilts the laptop.
