Cons: After 2 weeks, it can't start normally. Because at that time I had to deal with some important data with it. So I passed the replace time.

Pros: Fast enough, enough RAM, big HD (1TB). Runs the software that the proud owner needs it to. Very light weight.

Cons: I little concerned about quality due to the Very Light Weight of the machine.

Pros: None

Cons: This is really a bad device, after 2 week I noticed this machine have problem reading Hard Disk. This problem started increasing with time, now after 40 days, I have to give at least 10 attempt to boot this machine. When I contacted newegg they told me I lost my warranty period by few days.

Pros: Specs, screen size (for the cost), looks.

And THAT is where it ends.

Cons: No recovery disks, but I knew that I had to make recovery disks from prior experience.

NO WIFI!!! it is claimed to have it, but drivers do NOT work OR activate the Fn (function) button + F2. It turns on according to the icon that pops up but is a NO GO.

POOR documentation.

Dell support is hands down THE WORST ever.

I called to activate my "one time premium tech support call" when I registered the computer through the flyer number.
-They first put in the wrong serial number; and I ONLY found this out when I called back because the India service center hung up on me when he couldn't answer my question about the wifi.
-The second call back I just kept getting the basic lingo of VERY unhelpful service (again through India's service center) telling me it DOES work and to hit Fn+F2. The dude wouldn't listen to me. It doesn't WORK!
-On my 3rd call back hoping to finally get someone knowledgeable I told them I wanted a supervisor to dispatch me to an American call center so I could talk to someone; A) that I could understand, and B) who actually KNOWS computer tech. I was hung up on again. OH I mean, OOPS, I got "disconnected."
-The FOURTH call, I demanded a supervisor, they just kept wanting me to give them my serial number and I wouldn't give it. I told the super visor to IMMEDIATELY dispatch me to an American Call center. They dispatched me to the U.K.where I talked to 2 different people, a man & a woman. The woman was the supervisor.
-I was informed by the woman supervisor in the U.K. that if I wanted a knowledgeable tech support person FROM AMERICA, I would have to PAY for a PREMIUM tech support service through Dell.
But since I had registered online, I could use my "ticket" to talk to the "PREMIUM" tech support. I was also informed that there was a possibility that the WIRES may have come loose on the WiFi card causing it to not work properly at this point.
-I declined the PREMIUM tech support for if there were ever a REAL serious issue with the laptop.
-OH and ALSO I was informed at this point that upon my registration I still had 11 months of warranty left. WHAT!!?? I JUST BOUGHT IT! I was told that in fact, "No, Newegg was the purchaser from Dell, and the warranty in FACT starts from THAT date (which was a month before I purchased). So THAT means I MUST go through some hoops and submit my original receipt to get my full 12 months warranty. Baaaad!!!

Worst experience I have EVER had.

Matter of fact there isn't even a driver for the WiFi (and a few other things) on Windows Update. I am just waiting till windows update releases a WiFi driver for this hunk of junk door stop paperweight

Other Thoughts: To avoid all the bloatware and the Home edition, I right away slicked the drive and removed Home Premium and put Windows 7 Ultimate x64.
Installed my ESET Security Suite 5.
It's quite the performer WHEN it decides to perform. I am CONSTANTLY unable to connect to other computers on my network.

This computer has been a REAL headache. Google is my friend, and I can find ANYTHING - but this machine is just still too new to find solutions for right now.

I seriously considered downgrading BACK to the Home Edition it shipped with to see if the drivers might work, however, it is NOT what shipped with it, so I feel I would be defeating my purpose.

My final thought... I will NEVER, EVER buy another Dell product as long as I live; mostly because of how they handle their customer support.

Pros: i5, 6gig, 1tB harddrive for a good price. Good basic laptop to surf the web, check emails and watch videos.

Cons: Viewing angles of the display are disappointing. Lot of preinstalled stuff we don't use or want.

Other Thoughts: As always Newegg shipped fast.
