Pros: Price was less compared to others, not much difference though

Cons: The laptop has shown so many errors. The screen flickers, the sound bar disapperas. All these started to happen only after few weeks of purchase. We even sent the laptop to DELL customer care, but they sent it back with the same errors, nothing fixed with some new issues. I am regular customer at newegg and this is the worst experience I ever had. I never expected them to sell such a product with so many deficiences.

Other Thoughts: It was new laptop when purchased from newegg and I am surprised to see so many problems with it. Very disappointed

Pros: Great price, couldnt pass this one up for the wifes use

Cons: No cons here this product was priced great

Pros: Good overall system with lots of storage. Is definitely more than necessary to handle average user tasks for a number of years to come. Will still be good for email and such years after that.

Cons: Lower resolution display. Not horrible and generally an issue across laptops until the price goes up significantly

Other Thoughts: Bought on sale during Thanksgiving. Was torn between getting the missus an iPad or an all in one PC, ran across this and couldn't turn down such a deal.

Pros: Price - was $455 shipped after newegg financing credit
Good processor
Plenty of ram & Hard drive
runs quiet & cool on lap

Cons: No windows 8 ($15 if you want it although 7 will be supported for at least 7 years anyways)
NO 10 KEY - Wasted keyboard space & poor placement of mousepad. I'm CONSTANTLY brushing against it while typing

Other Thoughts: So far I can never type long without accidently bumping the touchpad with my palm causing stuff to happen that I can NOT replicate on purpose such as multiple tabs opening up, I type on line 3 and suddenly the text starts typing in the middle of line 1 etc. VERY ANNOYING! My Acer before this had a better keyboard and at the same size offered a 10 key by not having 1.5 inch borders on the side which serve zero purpose. I guess I will put a higher priority on fixing the defective screen on that unit so I can enter data easier and let my wife use this one.

Performance wise this laptop is fine, I might get rid of some of the "bloat ware" as others have mentioned because I don't notice any discernable difference in speed between this and my tri-core Acer. I thought this one would blow it away but it's definitely not slow either.

If the keyboard design wasn't so poor I would've given it 4-5 stars.

Pros: For the black friday price of 479.99 this unit is hard to beat. Build quality is decent and with 8gb's of ddr3 and a 3rd gen Core i5 processor you have a laptop that will meet many owners needs and expectations. At 699.99 this unit would have alot more competition from Lenova and Asus which I would of considered but for 479.99 they couldn't come close to these specs.

Cons: Dell bloatware but you get that with any other brand also.

Pros: Overall this laptop performs well. The power of the i5 processor and the solid 8 GB of RAM is noticeable. I am a graphic designer and this computer so far has handled the Adobe Creative Suite software like a champ. I uninstalled some of the pre-packaged bloatware, just as another reviewer did. I also used CCleaner to clean up the registry after uninstalling those programs and used AutoRuns to determine what I wanted to auto run at startup. Both are great, free programs. Everything being considered, the bottom line is if you can get this for the $479 price tag, it's a good deal.

Cons: Having a little better screen resolution would have been an added bonus.

Other Thoughts: Previously, I had been using a MacBook Pro for almost 6 years and while it's different going to a Windows platform after years of using a Linux-based system, I really enjoy Windows 7 so far.

Pros: none

Cons: it is defective when it mailed to me....can't started the laptop and it kept beeping....very possible the ram is bad..

Other Thoughts: get away from it.

Pros: Solid construction, great internals, price

Cons: Dell bloatware

Other Thoughts: Great little laptop, once you get passed all the Dell bloatware and get rid of it, it runs much faster.

Pros: Fairly good deal
processor is good and fast

Cons: very delicate material of the outer body
usb drives have some issue as when you plug in sometimes is makes your monitor flicker alot
charging is only for 4 hours
Does not seem to be really as fast as a a one with 8 gb ram

Pros: 8GB RAM, 1TB HDD, Windows 7, i5 processor for under $500. So far so good. I am giving it 5 stars for what it is and the price paid. I would expect more if this was a $700 system, but for what I paid, it is worth 5 stars.

Cons: This unit is very heavy. Does not have full keyboard with number pad on side like many newer systems. Screen resolution is 1366 x 768 and not HD, but that is typical of this price system.

Other Thoughts: Uninstalled lots of bloatware, but were no issues. Had stuff like e bay, Microsoft Live Essentials, Wild Tangent games, and several others. Installed MalwareBytes Pro, Microsoft Office Professional 2010, Microsoft Security Essentials, Photoshop Elements 10 and everything running very smooth.
