DELL XPS XPS14-1864sLV 14" Ultrabook Silver Anodized Aluminum

Pros: Haven't used enough to find anything that stands out. Clouded by negative aspects at the moment.

Cons: Won't boot. Purchased laptop for the wife, set it up when she was away on a school trip just fine. After the first start up, where you create the account name/password etc all future boots do not work correctly. It hangs at the DELL logo. I have done nothing to it except initial start up of creating account and password.

Through trial and error I found I can press F12 during startup to get to boot select and tell it to boot from windows boot manager. If this were a 6 year old computer I may say fine and deal with it, but not for a brand new laptop. Hoping dell support will assist me and I will update this then (If I can update it).

Horrible camera quality from initial testing. Using skype and chatroulette the camera quality was less than the netbook this is trying to replace. No specs on neweggs page but dells said it was a 2.0 mp camera while the netbook had only a 0.3 mp camera. I am hoping this is a driver issue? other than that I don't know.

Other Thoughts: As of now I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. If dell support can help me fix it all I may change that depending on ease of correction, preferably camera quality and booting up would work out of the box.
