5 out of 5 eggsVery Very NIce Laptop

Pros: Beautiful crystal clear screen, extremely quick processing, solid graphics performance with games.
Absolutley love the keyboard. 3D works great if you like 3D stuff. I think 3D is just an industry rage not really the consumer rage the industry would like it to be.

Cons: No cons, but a person does need to realize that a 17.3 inch laptop is going to be bigger and heavier than a 15.6. A 17.3 inch powerhouse laptop is not going to run all day on a battery.

Other Thoughts: I thought about this a lot before I bought and looked at lots of different options and size laptops. For my purposes I am so glad I bought this one. It is a little bigger and heavier than my 15.6 laptop but not much. Also when reading reviews keep in mind that some people are more knowledgeable than others. You make your own windows backup disk and you do this after you uninstall all the stuff you don't want. Not a big deal.

5 out of 5 eggsQuick and solid mobile platform

Pros: extremely quick processing power, solid graphics performance for gaming, crystal clear screen, 3d is there but gimmicky for my use. I thought the multi-touch and gesture capable track pad would be gimmicky but have really gotten to like it, scanning through many pages of items doing christmas shopping is super easy once you enable the Chiral motion scrolling. the two finger scrolling is nice too when you don't want to find the edge to scroll. Webcam isn't that great, especially in low light.

Cons: Don't expect hours of gaming without being plugged in, it's a 17 inch power house, get over it. Don't expect it to be feather light either, see my previous point. be careful with the 3d depth settings, can make you go cross eyed if you have the depth setting set too high.

Other Thoughts: I'm actually using the previous model version x775-3dv78, same or better specs on both models. Would definitely recommend based on my experience thus far.

1 out of 5 eggsDispointment

Pros: One Egg for the fact that it looks pretty.

Cons: Sounds BAD, Issues with OS, Over 200 Gigs of Spam added that is reloaded when you do a Re-install of Windows, No knowledgeable Tech Support, No Back Disk for Windows. No valid Windows 7 license available for Microsoft assistance. Undependable.

Other Thoughts: I experienced two of these Machines in one month. The first (store Bought) one had a bad power supply. I understand these things happen.
The second one (special order) had huge unacceptable sound and microphone issues, a lot of feed back into my headset also, and worse, Win 7 was very unstable. It would not save my changes after a re-boot. My music data base and sound settings changed with every re-log or worse when I rebooted. I had trouble installing software and getting it to be a dependable after a re-install.
I gave Toshiba two chances to get it right. Their answer for problems is to either send it back for repair or return it. Their Phone Tech Support only solutions are to re-install a drive or software several times, they do not problem solve.
Finally, if this is a Win 7 issue, I was sold an invalid Microsoft Win 7 License number. When I went to call Microsoft the cost of tech support was going to start at 59USD.
