Pros: Affordable, medium weight, number pad. Low profile keyboard may be a pro to some (I find it a con because on this keyboard I find it exceptionally easy to start touch typing with my hands on the wrong keys by mistake).

Has webcam and microphone, yet to be tested.

Cons: Came with 50 programs installed, 20 of which were unnecessary TOSHIBA applications (like the Bulletin Board that provides popups on the desktop), and a number of others which were starter/trial programs prompting for purchase. Touch pad mouse is pretty horrible, constantly freezing up and requiring mouse clicks to unfreeze, also fast typing seems to 'bounce' the cursor on the screen even when I'm deliberately keeping my hands away from the touch pad.

Other Thoughts: I have heard about hardware issues, haven't encountered any of the big ones listed yet BUT this was purchased by a department a few months ago and only now brought to me to set up, so it largely has not been used. Still have to test webcam and microphone.

Pros: NORMALLY VERY DEPENDABLE BRAND

Cons: PURCHASED AS A CHRISTMAS PRESENT FOR MY CHILD, UNFORTUNATELY IT WAS DEAD OUT OF THE BOX.

Other Thoughts: This was recalled shortly after I bought the laptop. I'm glad that Newegg let me know right away. They issued me a refund and I ordered a lenovo G570 (43344QU) Notebook instead.

Pros: Was a nice laptop while it was working.

Cons: I used it about 5 times for simple Internet banking tasks and surfing for information. Today, it wouldn't even boot up.

Pros: Good working laptop for a basic user. Good on the internet and for doing school work. I mainly got this laptop to replace my desktop for school work. I like the full size keyboard feels great and natural to use for someone who is used to the full size keyboard. Also great price for what you get I was surprised at the quality of this laptop.

Cons: There is some programs on the laptop that is completely useless to the average user. As an example it had net zero installed on it as a pre loaded program. Also the battery does not seem to last 5 hour more like 3 hours.

Pros: This is a nice, basic laptop for my young nephew. It is lightweight and has a comfortable full KB. I have owned a Toshiba laptop for years, taking it with me on trips all over the country so I know they are high quality. I've never had a problem with mine, and don't expect any with this new one.

Pros: It has bluetooth, media card reader, the feel to the laptop is well made. It has pretty much everything a high end ultra expensive lap top has, except a gaming gpu of course.

Cons: The screen resolution to me is something I would have to get used to as I have used a desktop for many years... It gives you the option to increase or decrease the brightness but to my desktop eyes are more of a grayish tone no matter how you change the brightness. Maybe its me, lol?

Other Thoughts: My brother bought this neat little laptop all the way from Buffalo NY and got here to NYC within 3 days... Wow!
