Cons: Sound could be better...on and off button a little hard to find at times. Ports all work fine, as does MicroSD. Like having the mini-USB and mini-HDMI. Can transfer directly to/from PCs & Laptops via Mini-USB, or use MicroSD. Cons: Not a big deal, but I dislike proprietary power connectors. Battery life could be improved. I get longer life on my older, rooted NookColor. Other Thoughts: At first I thought I had a bad Mini-USB as others have thought they had. My PC just wouldn't recognize the tablet. Turned out to be my PC and Windows 7 (64Bit). With the Thrive plugged into power AND into my PC USB port, I rebooted my Thrive. On Thrive restart, Win7 instantly recognized it and installed the AT1S5 USB drivers. Mini-HDMI connection allows you to hook it up to your big screen and enjoy it that way too. It's perfectly sized for being handheld, and the keyboard is set up so that it worked with one or two handed operation. Cons: The mini-USB port on mine did not work, so I could not transfer files from my laptop to the tablet. I had to use a micro-SD card to transfer the files which was annoying. Due to this I am returning it. Other Thoughts: Newegg continues their trend of taking care of their customers and waived the restocking fee on my return since the product was defective. They also are giving me a pre-paid UPS label so I won't be out any shipping to give it back to them either! This sort of service is why I shop here! Did you find this review helpful?
