Pros: Lightweight

Cons: Within the first week of owing this computer, Toshiba tech support had me reformat it twice - causing complete data loss. Within one month, the fan started running full time and they wanted me to reformat again, causing a complete data loss. For a brand new computer, these types of problems are completely unacceptable to me. The tech support is lousy (all they do to 'repair' is erase your HD and start over), and all repair places are at least one hour from my home. I can already tell I won't be purchasing a Toshiba again. So much for the great reviews I read on this computer...

Pros: lightweight

Cons: Speakers were crackly/unacceptable; keyboard continuously locked-up so it was not possibly to type. There are also several reviews of this laptop out there that cite the same keyboard lock-up issue. Completely unacceptable!

Other Thoughts: Apparently this product is only available for replacement. I would rather be refunded, though, and get something else. Not at all impressed, and in fact, quite unhappy with this laptop - even if it's replaced with a non-lemon.

Pros: Size is great and very usable. Feather light weight and includes DVD. Lots of storage. Works great out of the box. Few preinstalled apps other then the Toshiba suite. All the ports you could want. Highly recommend.

Cons: Speakers are tinny don't expect high fidelity. Would like another USB3

Other Thoughts: Just buy it.

Pros: Laptop is very light (3.2 pounds) and performs great. Speed doing standard daily tasks is outstanding and battery life is great. I have 48% battery life left which is 3hr 38min left. That is on the "balanced" power plan.

For a laptop this light and portable to also have that type of battery life with a DVD drive, you cannot go wrong!

Cons: None!

Pros: Needed something to replace my '09 MacBook. This does it for me. Small, light weight, thin, and ultra portable. Used for mostly reading documents, browsing net, youtube, etc. Little to no gaming. Processing speed is more than efficient for all of the above.

Cons: No bluetooth
Mouse buttons sound fairly cheap (plasticky click noise).
Makes a weird low humming nose from fan.

Other Thoughts: Fairly pleased since it cost $700.

Pros: Rigid magnesium chassis
Uber-lightweight (comparable to MacBook Air)
Powerful i5 CPU
Decent amout of memory shipped
Optical drive
Very Good Screen for size and resolution
Battery Life is fantastic for power
Runs cool and mostly quite

Cons: No dedicated GPU card
Standard Keyboard (not backlit)
No BD-ROM option
Pin type barrel power cord connector (magnetic like Apple is better)

Other Thoughts: This is a mighty-mite laptop. I can't speak for gaming, but for other uses it certainly doesn't lack power or speed. It is built quite well by what I can tell (long-term is unknown) with a truly plastic free magnesium chassis. This laptop is very light, doesn't get hot, has great battery life, and a nice screen. There are only two things that could make it better and that would be a BD-ROM drive and lighted keyboard. I guess if you were a hardcore gamer the lack of uber-powerful graphics card could be a stumbling block (however, gamers likely wouldn't buy a 13" screen).
