Other Thoughts: I bough this as a desktop replacement, the quality is just not there. 3 repairs at factory in 18 months? Glad I bought an after market (square trade) warrenty. Pros: - Great specs! - 120hz display!!!!! - plays any game on high-max settings easily - fantastic speakers/subwoofer - nice look - giant screen Cons: - battery life isnt that great, but if you set it to power saver mode you can certainly get some work done while its running on battery power. Its really not a huge deal as most people will have it plugged in anyway. - touch pad response seems a bit iffy, but it may be the drivers, havent had a chance to look into that yet. - the actual box it came in was literally torn open (huge hole) on the front. Nothing was damaged, and the outer box it shipped in was fine... surprised they let it leave the warehouse like that. Other Thoughts: The specs on this laptop are amazing. It doesnt out perform my desktop, however this is still an amazing machine. I pretty much got this strictly for LANs since I hate dragging my full sized tower everywhere. The big selling feature for me was actually the display. A 120hz display... on a LAPTOP... for this price?!?!?! I use a 120hz LCD on my desktop and every laptop I tried while shopping around was just unplayable for me because they were all 60hz and im so used to playing at 120. Im glad it doesnt come with the 3D glasses (i tried them before, they arent very good), because that brings the price down on the laptop. The refurbished tag also brings it down. I dont blame it all on the item im sure its good if you happen to get a working one but new egg must be under new management as ive been a customer for 10 years and the service ive gotten over the last 6 months has seriously made me question buying from them anymore.
