Pros: very easy to use and upgrade. I think it's great, the tablet is probably one of the best out there at this time. I chose it over the iconia A110 and the Nexus 7. The nexus has no sd port and the iconia has a lower pixel count. Folks, you can now upgrade from android 4.0 to 4.1 jellybean.

Cons: none that I would see.

Other Thoughts: After owning the Thrive for about 9 months I decided to give the new "Excite" line a look.

I caught this on sale at NewEgg for $439, which is a fantastic price for a 32GB Tegra 3 tablet with Ice Cream Sandwich and Gorilla Glass protecting the beautiful amoled display. The speakers are OK, and you do need the audio enhancement software turned on in the settings to get the full benefit from these small speakers.

The feel of the tablet is very nice, with a great fit and finish and not much give, unlike my Thrive which sometimes pops and cracks when using it.

A little on the expensive side this Excite tablet would sell like hot cakes if Toshiba dropped the price down to $299 for a 16GB and $399 for a 32GB.

I would recommend this to anyone looking for a newer tablet with the latest hardware and a great display, just don't pay full price!!
