Cons: Cheap, cheap, cheap! Extremely cheap feel. Cheap assembly. Feels like it's made of very low quality plastic and components.

Poor quality control. Mine came with a bulging RAM cover on the bottom. While trying to "fix" the problem I realized that the reason why this happened is because whoever was assembling this thing couldnt get the cover to fit right. It's horribly designed and is a nightmare to take out and put back in.

Windows 8 is LOCKED to the system and CANNOT be uninstalled or replaced with any other OS. I went into bios to disable the locked boot and there is in fact such an option. But it does not work! This computer will not boot from any DVD or Flash drive. It looks like its designed to be used only with Win 8 and if you dont want it, you are out of luck.

Despite the fact that the screen is advertized to be big and beautiful, it's actually a faitly "generic" screen and doesnt look better than any other screen. The factthat it's 16:9 actually makes it look much smaller than it is.

Other Thoughts: I got this on Sale in Best Buy during Black Friday and thought I got a really good deal, but really I feel like I was scammed.

Pros: At 17.3", the screen is large enough for some of my older clients who need to use accessibility tools. The price was certainly right for a computer of this size.

Cons: Toshiba loaded this thing with so much clutter and junk software that it took me just shy of an hour to remove it all.

Other Thoughts: The laptop didn't come with a Windows 8 product key sticker. Unfortunately, that just seems to be the trend with all of the manufacturers now. There is a built-in recovery partition, but I'm not sure what will happen when the hard drive eventually goes.

Pros: Large screen. 10 key, I3 processor, webcam.

Cons: Where to begin? This was listed as coming with win7, actually arrived w/win8. Do not want 8! Can't get rid of it, tried to del 8 and rollback to win7, would not do it. HDD is formated GBT. Keyboard is flimsy, looks like it is missing some screws in the middle because it sits up in the center and bounces while typing. Windows 8 sucks until they get the option to return to 7 leave this alone. Unless u want 8 and I don't know why anyone would, another Microsoft flop.
