Pros: This laptop is smooth running with games and videos for the price. Its nice and lightweight so its not hard carrying it around everywhere and the battery life is very good! I usually get about 5-6 hours out of it before it gets down to about 20% or so. Big improvement from my other computer. The screen is nice and big and the keyboard is easy to get used to. Windows 8, though I was dreading it, is actually a little easier than I thought. At least, for someone like me who knows a lot about technology.

Cons: The only thing that I can complain about is the audio. Without headphones the sound, music from Tunes or videos from the web, sound distorted. Almost electric. Still looking into this so I can fix it since its very annoying when trying to show videos to others or listen to music when I'm alone. Changing my password was a bit difficult and shutting down can take a while, but those are minor things I've noticed. Also, the widows update doesn't warn you when its going to do it. So you could be going to bed then bam, update. haha

Pros: Purchased for a Christmas gift and some grandchildren were very disappointed.

Cons: Grinding sound on initial boot and then went permanently dead.

Pros: I spent 4 hours calling their tech support to get no results. I purchased this item to find out that not all the programs was loaded, and some of the Items I ordered was not in the computer. I ordered directly from Toshiba and now will be returning the item and looking for another laptop.

Cons: The tech support, the equipment seems cheap as welll as their video screen.

Pros: Wonderful lower end machine - lightweight and thin - great as an web device - Windows 8 seems solid so far. Bought it at sale price which makes it a super value...

Cons: None so far...

Other Thoughts: NewEgg Rocks - I buy all my equipment from them - have done so for many years - never an issue that wasn't resolved fairly.

Pros: It does really good on speed. But some of the components are not represented in the description.
