Pros: OK, where to start? This baby has so many good things that it is really to pick what to say first. 3 Gb memory, if not the best option certainly helps Vista run better. Nice hard drive, 250 Gb will be quite enough for most of the people. Graphic card - now this is where this baby shines! For a gamer like me, this is already serious piece of hardware - I tried Counter Strike: Source, Two Worlds and a few other games and everything runs reeeeealy nice in 1024x768, full detail. Comparing with other options on the market, this baby really offers a lot for laptop that is <1000$. Worth every penny, but if your budget is a bit better (say, 1249.95$) you would maybe like to go for one of SONY models that has a bit more advanced features. 2 years warranty? NICE! Still, for price, this laptop really rocks! GET IT NOW! :)

Cons: Um, nothing much? Maybe battery life could be a bit better? A bunch of bloatware too, but that's nothing that deinstall woun't solve. My only serious complaint is that for about 1250$ you can get a SONY model that has more advanced features, but then again, that SONY has only 1 year warrantly...Oh well...you can't have everything, eh? ;)

Other Thoughts: Worth the price for sure! If you don't want to spend more than 1000$$$, this is a laptop to go for! Sincere recommendation!

Pros: great laptop for a very good price! plays COD4 and UT3 very well.

Cons: resolution is good enough but it would be nice to have better. ran into trouble with sound drivers in ubuntu, it comes partitioned in halves, i liked it since i put ubuntu on, but most people would find it annoying, battery doesn't last quite as long as i'd like, 2 hrs on power save.

Other Thoughts: the con's didn't really bother me, my linux guru friend fixed the ubuntu driver problem. and i usually have it plugged in so the battery is not really an issue. to make it have no cons, you would have to spend twice as much.

Very nice laptop

Pros: This laptop has some power going on. T5750, 9500m GS, any game you wanna play that's not Crysis should run at an acceptable framerate. The case is nice, too, and the keypad is a nice touch, not too common on 15" laptops. I really like the mouse that came with it. At first, it was weird, cause it's pretty small, but now normal sized mice feel odd.

Cons: I regret buying it cause it sits here on my desk, I never take it anywhere. I could've gotten an impressive gaming computer for $1000. Battery life could be better, but then again, I never take it anywhere without access to power anyway.

For other people thinking this will be a good college machine: unless you like typing instead of writing notes in class, I'd say go with a desktop.

Other Thoughts: Get yourself a cooler if you're gonna be playing some games, and if you're not, don't get this laptop.
