Great!
- Pros: Blazing fast. I've never had a laptop this fast before! I was hesitant to buy a laptop, but really needed the mobility factor, and it has not disappointed.
- Cons: A Few keyboard lag issues, but mostly fixed with BIOS update.
Also, it says 1066 MHz FSB? My POST screen says it's only running at 800MHz.. what gives? Anyone have ideas?
- Other Thoughts: The orange is definitely... orange... wish there were options on color and not just one. Anyway, I would not hesitate to recommend this to anyone, gamer or not.
- Pros: Fast, great components, I purchased the version without the blueray player, and I keep wondering why my version got deactivated? Who knows!
Anyway, very impressed by the performance, runs crysis very well (not as well as my desktop runs it, but w/e). Great looking design, excellent features.
Sleek design, very sexy looking laptop, it turns heads at my university. haha
- Cons: Battery life sucks, but I understand especially when gaming. Also, the left shift key on my keyboard is extremely loose. I don't why it bothers me so much, but it does. The speakers aren't the greatest ever, but they get the job done.
In addition, I was EXTREMELY disappointed at how this machine ran Assassins Creed, it was atrocious. Game kept lagging at every fighting sequence, and that was even with settings all minimized.
My first time using Vista, its a beautiful design, but I can see the bugs pop up left and right.
- Other Thoughts: I tested the specs of this computer on canirunit.com, and it supposedly says that it can play FarCry 2 with flying colors, so I'm kind of anxious to see just how well this rig can handle it.
Other than that, great laptop.
