Asus Netbook
- Pros: Loved the keyboard, size, everything about it!
- Cons: None
- Other Thoughts: Great gifts for college students.
Best Netbook ever?
- Pros: Thin, light, stylish, does every thing I need and then some.
- Cons: Had a small problem with the Ethernet connection, XP couldnt see it even after 4 re-images. RMA'd it and Newegg said they re-imaged it and everything works, what did they do that I couldnt???
- Other Thoughts: RMA took a ridiculous amount of time. Over one month to re-image and test. Kept getting the run around from the call center when asking about the status of the RMA, every time I called in they told me it would be done and shipped out in 2 days, took them 2 weeks after the first time I called to have it done and shipped.
Very nice!
- Pros: Very small, thin, sturdy and light. Very well designed, no battery bump, nice keyboard. Bluetooth, Wireless, runs well even in power saving mode. One of the best looking netbooks out there, also comes with a pretty decent case/sleeve.
- Cons: Nothing major, just a few small things that could have been done a little better:
- touchpad is nice, except it has a scroll bar that you can't see or feel on the side, just takes some getting used to.
- seems like the screen could be a hair bigger, doesn't go to edge.
- catches fingerprints easily, but that can be easily fixed with the provided cloth.
- Other Thoughts: Only 1GB ram, but with XP it's still better than most with 2GB that run on Vista. I can get about 6 hours of web surfing and itunes (with my bluetooth headphones paired) which is pretty amazing. I really have no idea how they get the battery and hard drive in that small of a space without even having a battery bump like 90% of netbooks. Doesn't even get hot, just a great little laptop, I would recommend this one for anybody.
