Pros: - Very lightweight - Runs Eclipse very well - I'm a big fan of the varying resolutions (especially a panning vs. compressed 1024x768 resolution for presentations) - The built in mic is good enough for a few casual voip conversations I've had over the machine
Cons: - The power adapter tends to overheat easily and requires a substantial amount of time to cool down before it will work again(sometimes over night).
- The computer itself has frozen a couple times on me which usually doesn't happen when I have minimal apps on such a new machine.
Other Thoughts: I bought this as a replacement for my laptop in order to take notes in class and run general demos of projects. It works perfect for my uses. It's not the most powerful machine and the screen is small for doing any serious work on, but in that case you really wouldn't want to be using a netbook anyway.

Pros: Great battery life, 1.66 processor, elegant design. Battery does not stick out the back making it look weird. Runs Windows 7 Ultimate with aero interface enabled without issue. Comes with a case to protect it. Great wireless connection.
Cons: Some newer models come with 250gig HDDs for the same price and have W7 starter already installed. Getting W7 installed was tricky as I have no usb dvd drive.
Other Thoughts: My wife bought me an HP mini for my birthday and I returned it to get this. She got it at a local store. I was able to get this netbook for the same price as the HP, but this has te 10.5 hour battery and a slightly faster processor as well as the Asus name. I was able to install W7 by using a usb thumb drive (8gb) and making the computer think it was a dvd drive. It took a few tries to get the bios to recognize it properly, but this method of installation should work for any programs you need to install on a netbook that cannot be downloaded off the web i.e. MS word. Just google "how to use a thumb drive to install windows" and you should find the info you need.

Pros: Does its job. With normal student use, it will last you the entire day. Really good battery life. Don't know what else to say since I only use this for schoolwork and browsing.
Cons: Doesn't run Crysis on max settings.
Other Thoughts: Attracts dust, fingerprints, Facebook addicts, girls who like cute things, siblings, etc.
