5 out of 5 eggsGreat value for money

Pros: For the money you cannot really find a laptop with more powerful. The physical parts of the laptop are great, the full size keyboard is nice, the keys are not too large or small and are all in the right area. The traction pad has just the right amount of friction and the right/left click buttons need just the right amount of pressure. I have been able to multitask quite a few demanding things at once and it handled it fine. I have not tried to many games just yet, but I have installed Majesty 2, although it is not very demanding, it ran on the highest settings. The video camera works quite well, it has captures movement decently, but it is a little grainy.

Cons: As others have mentioned, the biggest thing that irritated me with this laptop was that it came with Vista 32bit and came loaded with bloatware. Obviously I am going to upgrade to WIndows 7 and I expect this laptop to run much faster still as Windows 7 is not as demanding on your system as Vista.

Other Thoughts: If you want a cheap laptop that can do it all, look to this as it is great value and you will be able to play nearly all games, although not on highest settings, it is fairly lightweight and the dual GPU system allows you to get a lot more battery life out of your laptop by switching to a slower and lower wattage GPU.

3 out of 5 eggsGood laptop, bad support.

Pros: Fast laptop, plays CoD4 nearly maxed with no lag, CS:S Maxed, Champions Online on medium-high, L4D Max, Crysis on medium-low, and so far that's all I've tested. Doesn't freeze after playing games for a long time either. Great performance for the price...

Cons: 32-bit OS and ASUS support is very lacking. I called ASUS to figure out if it was 64-bit Vista before I purchased and they said it was. Unfortunately, it wasn't. I called them about the issue and told me I was out of luck pretty much and don't seem to want to lend me a hand even though they provided me with false information. It's quite frustrating and I'm going to avoid ASUS because of their lack of customer care. They just told me to send it back and get a different laptop if I wanted 64-bit... Wow is all I have to say.

Also, installing some games can be very slow. It took me an hour to install CoD4.

Seems to run kind of hot, 60c+ when idle...

4 gigs of RAM but a 32-bit os...

5 out of 5 eggsBetter than expected

Pros: -Full Keyboard has durable feel
-Vent out the back rather than on my mouse hand
-Handles surfing, studying, and playing fluently.
-CS:S, L4D, and Guild Wars run between 30-60fps
-Not too warm to the touch, but haven't measured core temps.

Cons: Vista 32bit
Bloatware
(Both can be easily resolved)
Be careful with the language setting; I accidently toggled Chinese text until I changed the key settings, lol.

Other Thoughts: I looked at laptops all summer for one to take on a study abroad. This one is a great value and performs better than I had expected.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: its totally perfect
no problems at all

Cons: you can call microsoft customer service and tell them
I think they will tell you how you can get 64 bit operating
but the best thing to do is to get windows 7

4 out of 5 eggsAll Good Except.... Just one thing

Pros: Laptop is good looking, all black, does not heat up.

Is speedy.

Gets vista display rating of 4.1. Gets Aero effect nicely shown.

Cons: BEWARE it has 32 bit OS. So.. you are paying for 4GB RAM but gonna get only 3GB when you open the box.

So far, newegg and asus is passing the buck around saying who can help me here to get an replacement recovery disc which give me 64bit OS rather than 32 bit OS.

Please ensure that you *really* want to buy this before you actually buy!

4 out of 5 eggsDecent

Pros: Very quick response, good resolution and adequate graphics. Able to process all games I've thrown at it, from Crysis to COD4.

Cons: Comes with Vista on it; Horrid. Slow, and comes with tons of ASUS and Microsoft Bloatware. Difficult to remove.

Other Thoughts: After installing Windows 7, processing speed boosted almost double, only problem was getting drivers to work. The disk that came with it didn't support autorun, but by targetting the disk as a driver location, it installed them and they run fine.
