This user purchased this item from Newegg
Pros: Aluminum Top Dedicated Graphics Battery Life
Cons: Key Board Flex Too Many Stickers Screen Viewing Angles
Other Thoughts: Purchased this lap top for battery life and clean design. The processor handles multiple programs at the same time rather well.
The key board flex issue is due to the optical drive taking up 2/3rds of the right hand side of the keyboard base. The optical drive opening has eliminated a large amount of side rigidity. Thus causing flex. A slot load drive would cost a little more but would provide a more solid base.
The screen looks OK when your viewing angle does not change. As soon as you move the resolution changes anywhere from light gray to black. Changing resolution settings will not help. Its like buying a cheap LCD TV and trying to watch it on an angle.
I dont like my lap top to be a bill board. I know whats inside. I don't need constant reminders. If the manufacturer feels the need to put them on at least put them on straight.
For a sub 1k laptop it performs well. If you want exceptional battery life, a fair amount of speed and thin design this may be for you.

Your Money's Worth

Tech Level: somewhat high - Ownership: less than 1 day
Pros: The dual graphics cards provides flexibility that other laptops do not have. The integrated Intel video is powerful enough to play Youtube videos without skips or lagging. The powerful nVidia graphics is enough to power my World of Warcraft addiction.
Some people have complained that the screen quality is horrible. . . but, that's completely the opposite of my experience. The screen is sharp and clear in detail. It has a glossy finish which may be problematic outdoors, but it's clarity indoors is amazing.
The laptop runs extremely cool. I feel no heat on my palms when typing.
I've seen a small amount of flex when typing, but it's not disturbing in the slightest. It doesn't distract from the fantastic size and response of the keys.
Windows 7 (64-bit) Home Premium comes pre-installed on the laptop. This computer will still run all of the 32-bit software you know and love, but take advantage of the power of 64-bit apps (like iTunes). The speed bump is worth it!
Cons: The touchpad is a bit touchy. Most people forget to WIPE OFF THE ADHESIVE RESIDE from the plastic protector. It greatly improves the performance of the touchpad. Still, I got a wireless mouse because I'm not a fan of touchpads in general.
Other Thoughts: The initial setup seemed to take FOREVER. . . but it's hard to tell if that's from the laptop or from all Windows 7 setups in general (I've been a dedicated Ubuntu user for 2+ years now).

A great little machine
Reviewed By: vtron79 on 1/6/2010
Tech Level: high - Ownership: 1 month to 1 year
Pros: - lightweight - switchable graphics - 10+ hours battery time - While not a 'hardcore' gaming machine, it runs current titles with no problem. Currently playing Dragon Age and it runs it smoothly.
Cons: - one of the ram chips went bad in a couple weeks. if not for this it would have been 5 stars - the touchpad can be a little awkward at first but eventually I got used to it, so it's no show-stopper by any means
Other Thoughts: I usually don't do these reviews so bear with me :)
Anyway the reason I bought this machine was for the battery life, mostly because both work and school have me doing work on the go, and it has actually exceeded my expectations.
I can easily get 10 hours of battery life between charges with the onboard graphics, with the screen brightness cranked nearly all the way up (100% is a little too bright for me though, the LED display can get extremely bright)
As for performance, it multitasks well, and was able to run Dragon Age: Origins smoothly. Also out of curiosity, I ran the machine on battery power while playing Dragon Age and it ran over 3 hours before I needed to charge it :)
Overall I'd say this machine is great for what it was intended. The greatest things are the combination of it being lightweight and long battery life. It's the first laptop I can take for a full day's worth of work/school use and not have to bring the charger with me :)
