Pros: When I opened the box, it had great packaging. I put the battery pack in, and charged it for surprisingly 30 minutes and the light was already green (95-100% charged). When I powered it on, it started installing all the gadgets this thing comes with (bluetooth/wireless adapter, ethernet adapter, etc). After a short amount of time, I was on the Windows 7 Desktop. I love the touchpad, it isn't set in, instead they put little bumps where the pad would normally be and it works great. It has the scrolling and zooming features too. One other thing I ordered was some G-Skill 2gb DDRII SODIMM ram. I flipped it over after turning it off and popped it right in. Be sure to pull the clips to the side so the 1gb stick that's in there pops out, and put in the new RAM at a 45 degree angle and push til it snaps in. Overall awesome netbook.
Cons: Windows 7 Starter has limited customization, and you can only run 3 programs simultaneously, practically forcing you to upgrade. If you do the upgrade from the netbook, each product is discounted, though.
Also, no CD/DVD drive, but that's not a big deal for me.
Other Thoughts: I powered down the computer in the middle of setup because I didn't read the battery charge thing. I let it charge afterwards and then turned it on to resume start up. That was easy.
