Pros: Great machine from what I can discern from the time spent on it since I got it, it is worth the money paid.

Cons: The notebook does not have a webcam as advertised at least not this one I have, and I bought this model based on the fact that it said it had a webcam.

Other Thoughts: I needed a built in webcam

Pros: Great features for the price. Not too much bloatware. Has a cool treadlike pattern on the case, perfect gift for your Home Improvement fan.

Cons: None yet. Make sure there are drivers available for your printer. Tried the Vista driver for Lexmark x1150 (as advised by Lexmark) does not seem to work.

Other Thoughts: If you need an ExpressCard slot, HDMI out, or Intel VT this one is not for you. If you want a nice Win7 laptop, with this one you can't go wrong.

Good laptop

Pros: I had a chance to jump on the deal where teh laptop offer $100 off so that was the biggest pro. The next pro was compared to other brands with similar configs this one is the best one for under $600.

Its a great laptop for its price range which is the Medium low range at this price..

Its sturdy and has a nice feel. Its doesn't feel cheap like a few Lenovo pnes in this price range.

It was purchased for a family member so I won't get to really use it much. But I fiddled with it a couple days and I actually like it.

Asus is the best as I own 2 PC's I built myself using Asus motherboards and I have used there stuff in the past. I never have a complaint with them.

This was a good buy.
Also kudos to Newegg..I purchased the laptop on the 12th it was shipped on the 13th and I got it money the 16th when technically I wasn't to receive it until tomorrow. Good show on the rush job. I purchase 99% of my hardware from Newegg and will continue.

Cons: For a computer sporting a 2.1 Ghz dual-core I thought it was a bit slow...but all thinsg considering its still awesome for its cost.

However it may seem slow to me because I am use to using a quadcore Q series on my desktop and a second desktop sports a 2.93Ghz CPU from the E series.

Other Thoughts: This laptop doesn't support XP Mode for 2 reasons. First Home Premium doesn't support XP Mode...you must have the Windows 7 Professional or Ultimate versions. Also the T series cpu's from Intel don't carry the VT (Vanderpool Technology) required to use XP Mode. Only the E series and Q series processors have VT.
