Cons: If your going to install a fresh OS and you go to the ASUS site and enter in X53E, you will end up getting drivers that work but cause severe errors and make the machine seem like there is something seriously wrong with it. Instead search for the K53E drivers and install the chipset first. Once I got those drivers in place, this thing runs like a dream. Other Thoughts: I have no idea why the named this laptop x53e. The x53e is a dual core celeron laptop. This one is a dual core i3. Very miss leading. I hope I saved you all a few hours of aggravation!! Did you find this review helpful?
