Other Thoughts: Ive now had this Asus computer for three weeks, and it has mostly been a delight.
My bigest beef with it is the touchpad. No matter how much I adjust the sensitivity, it always seems to accidently get bumped and screw something up on the screen when I am working in Photoshop type programs. I will continue to fiddle with it to try to get it correct.

Its really a great computer otherwise. Speakers are a bit soggy, but with headphones on most of the time, its not a problem.

Pros: *clean looking
*fast computer

Cons: *screen. This is why I would not give the computer a 5 "egg" rating. The screen just looks like it has a sheen over it.

Other Thoughts: This is only my first day owning this laptop so this is just my initial opinion.
I just wanted to confirm what other reviews say online about the screen being a bit watered down. This isnt so bad that I want to return it, but if a super clear/crisp looking screen is your thing, then dont purchase this.

There are also complaints about the wi-fi not working out of the box, and mine also did not work. I went through the troubleshooting, and it started to work, and then it turned off again. I manually hit "fn" and "F2" then clicked on "wireless", and I have not had an issue since. ..again, this is only day 1 of owning it.

Pros: So far runs really great. Its sleek, it looks nice. Has a lot of memory, downloads things very fast. Keypad is very easy pressing, comfortable on the fingers. Overall it performs very well.

Cons: No cons yet, yet its about one or two inches smaller than id like. But at the same time its perfect size for caring around.

Other Thoughts: Perfect for school, minor gaming (due to screen size i recommend bigger screen for serious players), and good for making music, has plenty of storage for programs and tunes.

Pros: i7 core processor and 2.8Ghz isn't an easy pass up.

Cons: I received the laptop without the power cord and never received one while I was in possession of the laptop even after the assured me i would. The speakers were blown when I received the laptop and by magic the computer would turn on. The key pad was already starting to indent. while the computer looked nice and don't get me wrong it worked fine it just was in no condition to leave their possession.

Other Thoughts: The newegg team was very helpful when I called them, but it does still not help that I ordered the laptop around Feb 21st and still have not been refunded or had my item replaced and its March 22nd.
The packaging it came in was awful as it was basically plastic wrapped to a single piece of cardboard in a fitting box.

There isn't a laptop within this price range with the power and portability that this one has, however the risk of getting a paperweight and having to wait an eternity for a replacement makes this a risky purchase.

Pros: This laptop is phenomenal! First, it was a "BGrade, Scratch & Dent" and it does not have a scratch or dent on it! It is fast with an i7 processor. I bought this to replace an 8 year old laptop that had been acting up for years. I cannot believe how lightweight and sleek it is. It has everything I was looking for and it was very affordable. You will not be disappointed with this laptop!

Delivery was fast. The packaging was minimal, but nothing was necessary to get the laptop up and running in minutes. I literally plugged in the battery and powered it on. I was easily surfing the net in minutes.

This machine will serve me well as I travel between two offices and take my work home with me daily. I run my own business and I do a lot of computer work at home in the evenings. My laptop is critical for me to complete my work every day.

Cons: None that I have discovered in the first few hours working with the new laptop.
