Sleek aesthetic design
Beyond being extra thin and light, ASUS S56 ultrabooks pack a full feature set in just 21mm. The cool grey hairline design expresses a personal professional approach. One-piece molded top casing reinforces notebook strength and rigidity, and the entire style embodies subtlety that meets all your performance portability needs.
The large Smart Gesture touchpad enables always fingertip-natural computing, and the back-assembled chiclet keyboard assures extra-solid typing for greater comfort.
Pros: Great price, good computer no problems. Windows 7 64 bit! Has small SSD included which helps on boot.
Cons: Screen res is a little lower not a big issue for me but it might bother some people. Mouse isn't very good but I bought a cheap external. Upgrade the ram you will be glad you did.
Other Thoughts: If you up the ram and get an external mouse this computer becomes awesome.

Sleek, thin, powered
Pros: Have to say, I was a little under suspecting, as this is a less expensive model, and just thought I'd had to buy less power and persuasion than the higher model. Really, IMO< it's merely the Platter HD and 4GB of memory that will be upgraded eventually. The thing purrs and runs without a hiccup. My hesitations were unfounded, it's a solid unit.
Cons: In this day and age with memory costing so little, to ship a ultrabook with only 4GB of memory is a crime. I instantly stuck a additional 8GB stick in and performance picked up noticeably.
Other Thoughts: W7 Professional 64-bit was a bit of a gift. Like that. Making it business friendly. Learn from my stress, this unit is not a settling for less, it is a fine model worth every penny, and again, IMO, worthy of not spending much more for some inexpensive upgrades one could do themselves.
