Make it clear
Pros: I just wanted to make it clear that most Asus tablets charge correctly only when inserted in the wall the correct way. The Nexus 7 was the same way if you flip the charger it will charge like normal, how you would expect it to.
Cons: None so far

Nice tablet, new model bugs?
Pros: Purchased the tablet for my wife. Based on the specs it seemed to offer everything that the tf300 does, without the option of a keyboard/doc which she didn't care for anyway--and its pink which was a huge bonus for the wife. Out of the box it was very responsive, picked up the neighbor's wireless network that our phones and computers don't even see, and has a nice bright screen that played videos easily. Gaming on it was smooth, apps downloaded and opened without hesitation. I liked that the OS was very barebones without much of the bloatware apps that some of the bigger names throw on their tablets.
Cons: One small problem with the one we got. It will not charge. The supplied cable is USB with a wall plug. We drained the battery the first night of using it, plugged it into the wall to charge overnight, and the next morning it was still dead. I tried connecting it to a computer instead, the computer didn't recognize the devise and it didn't pick up a charge. I took the same cable and connected it to my smartphone as it has the same micro USB port, and my computer recognized my phone and it started charging. I connected the cable to the wall plug and it continued to charge my phone. So it seems the device we got was maybe missed in quality control to check if it actually charged.
Other Thoughts: When it had power, we liked the tablet a lot. It was very speedy and played video beautifully. It works well in direct sunlight as we pulled up the kindle app and purposely pointed it so the sun was shining directly on it and everything was still easily readable. If it would only charge, it would have met our needs exactly. At this point I think I will wait a little while until the bugs are worked out, but it seems to be a really nice tablet for the 4 hours we could use it. I'll give it 3 stars because when it was functioning, it was a great tablet, and I don't want to knock it down as being a bad tablet because its not. It just seems they missed one very important part, ensuring I can use the tablet more than once!
