5 out of 5 eggsAll day battery is for real

Pros: This is my 4th Chromebook (previously Samsung, Acer, HP). The fit and finish on the ASUS is better than the other three. Normally I take manufacturer battery claims with a large grain of salt. I find in the real word you are lucky if you get 40% of what they are claiming. Browsing the web including playing videos and music the C200 will give you a solid 8 hours of battery life with about 10-15% of the battery remaining. That was a nice surprise.

Cons: Like all Chromebooks it is missing a right click button on the keypad.

Other Thoughts: I give my old Chromebooks to family member because they can't get viruses. If they ever do get one restoration is very simple. Also when you move from Chromebook to Chromebook it remembers you settings like URL's and passwords. IMO there is no better way to browse the web than with one of these.

5 out of 5 eggsSpeedy Machine

Pros: fast
lightweight
great battery life
affordable
solid performance
no problems so far (~6 months ownership)

Cons: Chrome OS

Other Thoughts: This is a quick, lightweight machine with great battery life. It's not bad looking, either. I use it several hours a day and only need to charge every few days, thus with a full battery I have no doubt that it'll last a whole day of light-to-medium computing.

I've been using this as my day-to-day computer for web-browsing, media viewing and word processing. It rarely has issues with performance, even when I have multiple video tabs open.

My only gripe is with the Chrome OS as is has a fairly steep learning curve if you are transitioning from something like Windows (which I did). To be fair, it's not a shortcoming of this computer (since I knew beforehand that Chrome was the operating system installed). That being said, the Chrome OS is one of the reasons that this laptop is so fast and has so few issues (such as viruses, etc.).

In short, if you don't mind using Chrome OS, then this is a great option.
