4 out of 5 eggsVery Satisfied

Pros: -Light weight & Thin
-Great performance for games and work
-Minimumlistic styling

Cons: -Touch pad does not work as well as past experiences

Other Thoughts: I bought the P35Wv3-CF4 mainly as a work computer with the bonus of being able to play games. I chose the Gigabyte P35 line because of its exterior design. It blends into any professional environment.

4 out of 5 eggsSatisfied

Pros: -Light-weight
-Professional looking, i.e. does look silly like other "gaming" laptops
-Minimalist design
-Little bloatware
-Fast CPU & GPU
-Very affordable considering hardware specs in a small package

Cons: -Trackpad - doesn't work as well as other tackpads I've used
-Doesn't feel as very sturdy as I'd like. Macbook Air feel more robust

Other Thoughts: Overall I am very satisfied with the P35Wv3-CF4. I don't quite love it, but I am in no way disappointed. My favorite characteristic of the laptop is that it looks simple and professional, since I mostly use it for work and play a few games on at home.
The chassis doesn't feel cheap or poorly manufactured, but it doesn't feel rugged. You'll want to handle it with two hands most of the time.
It gets pretty loud when gaming too. With default microphone settings my friends said they could hear the drone of the fans as a game loads.

4 out of 5 eggsAs Described & Reviewed

Pros: weight

Cons: fans are loud, runs hot and touchpad location

Other Thoughts: If you are looking for a gaming laptop that is not to heavy to carry in a backpack I would recommend this one.

1 out of 5 eggsGreat Spec but build Quality Bad!

Pros: On Paper the P35W v3 is amazing.. New Intel i7 4720HQ, 16GB RAM and new Nvidia Geforce 970M..
- Flexibility to upgrade component
- Relatively compact
- Expansion bay / DVD slot
- Battery life is ok all considered.. +-4 hours avrg

Cons: Build quality bad for a +- $ 2000 system. Gigabyte needs to take price point and finish into consideration. This is my second Unit, First one RMA. Second Laptop even worse defects than first..

- Left System Fan Rattles badly out of the Box!
- Bad Backlight bleeding on Display edges
- Keyboard surrounding bezel not flush/popped out/ Wavy all around like a $1 plastic toy..
- Bulge just left of mousepad and ASDW Keys..
- Fan intake Grill on top dented from Factory
- Wifi takes about 1-2 min to connect after standby
- 5Ghz Wifi connectivity issues
- Screen sometimes stay blank after standby, restart needed
- Some keyboard keys not level/tilted to one side.
- Mouse Pad listed as Synaptics on website but is Elan :(
Elan pads just don't do what you want it to do.
- Some blue screens, seems to be faulty memory modules

Other Thoughts: If they can build this system like their motherboards, ASUS or Apple products, they will sell thousands! Quality seriously lacking unfortunately.. MSI GS60 not much better in the dependability department but Build quality is better..

4 out of 5 eggsSOso

Pros: Light, yet powerful and fast. Very little bloatware. Hot swapable HDD caddy. The 1TB mechanical drive is a HGST HTS721010A9E630.
The WiFi card is a Intel 910 series.

Cons: Build quality could be better, terrible light bleed on the top half of the display. Num lock at boot doesn't work properly or windows is turning it off. No Num lock or caps led. The fans at full speed sound like a 1u server. Documentation is terrible.(15 pages). 15GB of the SSD is a hidden recovery image, should be on the mechanical drive in my opinion.

Other Thoughts: If you buy this don't bother downloading updates from the manufacturer's website while you wait on shipping. They are all out of date. You have to use the gigabyte smartupdate app to get the actual updates. (Pro tip: the smart update app caches them in a temp folder, in it's install folder prior to installation. Back them up before installation, the app deletes them after install.) Windows 8 secure boot is enabled, you can delete the keys and restore them at will. I did to clone the ssd with clonezilla. Waiting a bit before trying dual boot. The SSD is a LITEONIT LMT-128L9M

5 out of 5 eggsBest Laptop I've Ever Owned

Pros: Pros: Surprisingly thin, bright vivid 1080p display. I love the fact it has a display port for 4k displays. It has a snappy i7 processor with SSD drive. The graphics card (970m) is beyond amazing. I've been able to play most of the 2013/2014 games on max I've thrown at it. I like the ability to change fan speeds, I also added a Samsung 850 Pro SSD drive to the hot swap bay. I upgraded from a 2011 mid-range HP laptop, so this upgrade has been like night and day for me.

Cons: Cons: The price tag, granted the slim form factor is the reason behind it's premium cost. I also didn't like the fact that 3 days in the matte finish, while it looks beautiful, it's a massive fingerprint magnet.
