Pros: The size and weight are nice. The computer runs quite well. Minimal bloatware. Great specs. Quality is not shabby. Keyboard back lit, num pad.

Cons: Fans CAN get loud when under heavy stress. The heat exhausted out the back is quite warm as well. I wish it would have came with a win 8.1 CD. More USB slots would be nice, but 4 is still plentiful.

Other Thoughts: It is still quite soon to give a great review but so far it seems like a great purchase compared to other offerings with the same specs.

Pros: The laptop is full packed with the latest spec. really powerful for gaming or any multimedia needs.

Cons: might as well call the metal that its made with plastic because that is exactly how it feels. its actually heavy, my 6lb laptop feels lighter than this... it came defective so i had to return it and i did not want the replacement after taking a really good look at it and seeing how bad this system is made on the outside. the screen quality is very bad compared to my old Full HD Asus which is like 3 years old.

Other Thoughts: I was really disappointed because this machine is so powerful, but was made with such bad quality. I think the one i got was made by a 5 year old. its a real shame. i was avoiding buying an MSI and considered the Gigabyte a better choice, but boy was i wrong.....

Pros: This laptop is fast and tough. But somehow, they've kept it extremely thin. I love the design. It is something of a fingerprint magnet, but that is a small price to pay. The screen is beautiful. I love the placement of the optical drive. Excellent selection and placement of peripheral ports.

Cons: The fans get loud, often, even when idling. Luckily the included SmartManager software from Gigabyte allows you to run the laptop in a silent mode, just remember to turn it off when you decide to push the system.

Other Thoughts: I bought this to replace my MacBook Pro mid-2013 model. I'm very happy with that move. This laptop is faster and more flexible. The dollar-to-spec ratio just makes so much more sense than on Apple's platform.

Pros: - Great gaming performance
- Excellent screen
- Keyboard and touchpad are very well made and the feeling is also really good
- No Bios white lists or weird things "under the hood"
- Great general apps performance
- Many storage options
- ODD/HDD

Cons: - You can feel the heat!

Other Thoughts: This is a great laptop, out of the different gaming laptops I've had so far (asus rog, lenovo, msi, clevo), this is the best. The quality of the construction is great and the HD panel looks great. If you are looking for 8 hours of battery, keep looking and don't choose a gaming laptop as these are not made to last so many hours definitively. Also, this baby heats! However, in my case it never throttled nor even a little. My recommendation is to have a good cooling pad like the Notepal U3 and if you are adventurous (like me) you can repaste the GPU and CPU with a better thermal paste like the Coollaborative Liquid Ultra in my case, I lowered the temps to 89c and 69c at max usage using fullhd in futuremark benchmarks and games.

Overall... this laptop is just great!
