4 out of 5 eggsBest Bang for your Buck

Pros: Battery Life. Windows 7 Starter. You are getting a $300 netbook for $250. Comes with a great travel case.

Cons: Touch Pad is over sensitive but can easily be turned off with a push of a button.

Other Thoughts: I wasnt sure to trust Hannspree since I've never really heard of them but they produce top quality products. I am very happy with my purchase. Upgraded to 2 gigs of ram and the computer runs way faster, highly recommend upgrading the ram. Good netbook for basic websufring and microsoft office. Another cool thing this netbook can run Starcraft 1 the original.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat price for the features

Pros: Good features and value.

Cons: Touchpad could be better.

Other Thoughts: This was the lowest priced netbook on the Internet that I found for the features desired. Some unexpected features were found such as 1.3 MP camera and the included carrying case. Performance is fine even without upgrading the 1 GB of memory. Battery life is average at approximately 6 hours. Norton Antivirus was one of the few software packages on the computer but I consider less pre-installed software to be better!

4 out of 5 eggsGreat machine for the price

Pros: Comes with bigger HDD than most other Netbooks that cost $100 more.

LCD screen is very easy to see, even in bright outdoor conditions.

Built-in CAM is also a little more responsive than other netbooks I have seen.

A tad slow at loading thumbnails for files, but opens windows and boots up fairly quickly.

Cons: Multi touch feature on touch pad is a bit glitchy, when using it to zoom in and out on web pages.

Other Thoughts: I have not really had an issue using the touch pad as described in the other comments. again the only thing is it's a little glitchy when you use the multi touch features. but this is most likely due to the slow cpu speed and only 1gb of ram.

it doesn't mention anywhere that this netbook has 3G, but mine has the module installed, all i need is a SIM card. so maybe it does or maybe it doesn't have 3G support.

4 out of 5 eggsGood bang for the buck

Pros: Great keyboard. Great cam. Great little laptop for the price.

Cons: Mouse pad is terrible. Multitouch is horrible. But if you use a physical mouse, it shouldn't be a problem. Also, I've had issues getting the Bluetooth working. In addition, the wifi range is really bad, as well. It can pick up the signal, but can't connect. It's ideal if you're not gonna be more than like 30 feet away from the router. One more troubling this was the resolution kinda switched back and forth while I was downloading an update. It coulda just been a fluke, but it was a bit worrying.

5 out of 5 eggsSolid

Pros: Great Linux compatibility - everything works out of the box (has Atheros wireless, Realtek audio). The fan is very quiet and doesn't even run unless you're doing something intensive like watching video. Comes with a nice soft carry case.

Cons: Multi-touch pad lags so badly that it isn't really usable. It gets a little warm on the bottom when you have it on your lap. It has "warranty void if removed" stickers over the screws for the access panels on bottom. Make sure it works well before you start upgrading.

Other Thoughts: This machine is a real bargain. Great specs, good battery life. If it keeps working, I'll be a very happy customer.

4 out of 5 eggsPretty nice little netbook

Pros: Better than I was expecting, I was holding off for an Asus in the color and specs I was looking for and decided to try this brand I hadn't heard of before because it was so cheap for the specs.
*Easy access to HDD and memory (assuming its upgradeable to 2gig like all the others)
*came with padded carrying case,
*Win 7 dvd and driver disc for xp and 7
* haven't tested the battery life but says almost 8 hours remaining on a 96% charge.
*Keyboard is much better than I was expecting, actually feels very nice.

Cons: The touch pad doesn't seem to be very responsive at times, but that could just be me, I have caught myself several times with a second finger on the pad.

Other Thoughts: If this little beast keeps up the good work I will be checking out more products from this company
