Pros: Best configuration for best price

Cons: Quite heavy, may me I am doing wrong comparison. I am trying to compare it with MacBook

Pros: Easy to set up, I plugged it in and after a little fill in the blanks it was ready to use. Connected to my wireless network and printer with no problems. Touch pad is very user friendly and easy to turn off when typing. Used the computer to download TuneEcu to load new fuel mapping for my Triumph and had no problems, even setting up the interface cable was a snap.

Cons: Not much, black around the screen shows the dust real well and it shows the glare from surrounding lights but not enough to worry about.

Other Thoughts: Nice and light, not much heat, love the gray metalic of the case. Used it side by side with an older Compaq with a decent AMD processor and no comparison, the Lenovo is a lot faster, should be with all the new technology.
Highly recommended.

Pros: Love the brushed metal look and color, matte mouse pad texture (I can't stand the glossy ones), touch button volume/heat dissipation controls, storage space, 4 USB ports (including two 3.0 ports), SD card reader, bright display, power brick is relatively small, expandable memory,

Cons: Had to uninstall a few extras I didnt want, but kept quite a few that seem pretty useful, I wish the mouse buttons were separate from the rest of the touch pad, and wish the keyboard was backlit, wish the hard drive was faster -- limits the transfer speed of the USB3 ports,

Other Thoughts: Having only had it for less than a week so far, I haven't had the chance to put it through the wringer as far as running multiple Adobe programs at once, but I have loaded some MMOs to it and it runs fine (obviously not maxing out the settings but not minimal either). The battery life seems fine so far; it's not as long as my husband's ASUS (which is a smaller laptop though) but definitely longer than a previous work laptop (17" with comparable hardware).

Overall, it feels like a well-rounded sturdy machine and for the price I'm really happy with it.

Pros: Superb laptop, especially at the 430$ price point.

Cons: Comes with a decent amount of bloat ware, but several could prove useful, such as the one key recovery. oovoo is just straight bloat

Pros: This is a speedy machine, at least compared with my previous laptops. The keyboard is very comfortable and the keys are nicely contoured. The aesthetics of the case are very nice.

Cons: 1. The machine inexplicably lacks a disk activity LED. This may well be the first personal computer I've encountered that didn't have one. And I miss it. The disk activity LED reassures me that the machine is actually working when it seems to have gotten stuck. A very unfortunate omission.

2. The machine comes with four primary partitions preinstalled. That makes installing an additional OS such as Linux very challenging. I managed to do it by saving the contents of #3 within #2, deleting #3, installing an extended partition in its place, and reconstructing #3 within that extended partition. Then I was able to create additional logical partitions. But I shouldn't have had to do that.

Other Thoughts: If Lenovo had taken advantage of the UEFI capabilities that the machine already has, they could have avoided those partitioning problems.
