Pros: Everything works great on this laptop, yes the technology is old but it's good reliable hardware. the machine is well built and solid. I love it

Cons: Battery is not the best so you will have to replace it to get any time away from an outlet. It is heavier than the newer laptops but that's the trade off for something that's well built.

Other Thoughts: I bought this cheap laptop to do bankong only and it works well for that

Pros: My unit was super clean, showed absolutely no signs of wear, must have sat in a dock its entire life. I have had it for a year or more and not one problem.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: I have upgraded to the T7200 64bit processor, which was fairly easy considering its a laptop. I also installed a faster sata hard drive I had laying around, then installed Windows 7 64bit, this thing runs as good as some core i5's I have owned. I usually don't buy refurb computers, but the reputation of the Thinkpad caused me to buy this unit without hesitation, it will probably outlast my new HP laptop.

Pros: It works okay, without any major issues when it comes down to it.perfect for a younger kid.

Cons: Where do I start.

First is the issue (that I've seen with other owners of this laptop) is that sometimes the keyboard will STOP working when you power up the laptop. The cursor won't move nor will the keyboard. then you have to close the lid, wait until it goes to sleep mode then try again. And again. It's frustrating.

Secondly, you cannot unplug it unless the lid is closed because the screen will start blinking until you plug it back in.

It also looks outdated.

Other Thoughts: Frankly, if you cannot afford anything better at the moment, wait and save up a few more bucks to buy something better than this. It will be worth it.
