Cons: I'm using a Mac so the keyboard is kinda weird to me.
the keys feels a little "cheap"

Other Thoughts: I love this laptop! It's fast, and looks very sexy. It comes with beats audio which basicly makes the sound louder, come in better, and adds a bass boost. I wouldn't recommend it for games like minecraft or just average use. This laptop plays Minecraft up to 70 FPS and with a 64x texture pack it get 60-65. Even though it is refurbished I found not a scratch, everything works GREAT! Highly recommended, not to mention that it's a great deal. :)

Other Thoughts: I got this laptop refurbed after first seeing it at Walmart and finding it again here for more than $50 cheaper. I love art & plan on using it for digital art-based software like Photoshop & Paint Tool SAI, so I have my figer crossed about how it handles those (updates later), but looking at pictures & video on it now have me very optimistic.

As I said, there are a lot of great pros to this machine, especially for those with creative purposes in mind, but the 2 cons are notable. Firstly, I only found out after I'd purchased it that the dv6 is prone to overheating issues; I was worried, but it's proved to be a very easy problem to get around. (I use it on a hard surface (large clipboard) with great ventilation & on low settings.) Also, the battery life isn't as long as I'd have liked; 5 hours max. If you're planning on using it on a long car trip or plane ride, make sure it's fully charged first and keep it on low settings! At home, I highly advise that you set up your workspace close to the nearest 3-prong socket & keep it there, especially if you're going to be running any kind of games or software.

Those two mild complaints aside, all in all, she's a fantastic computer for the price. I've only had her for less than week, though - if I don't come back to write a bitter, hate-filled rant cursing both Hewlett-Packard and NewEgg's descendants, then you can assume it had a happy ending. :)

Pros: Features; open almost like a tablet so when using a vertical stand doesnt have achance at over heating. Usb 3.0, appearance is very nice. No bugs like the dv6-6135dx model, hdmi, Beats Audio.

Cons: No blue-ray, needs a better power supply not a low grade power supply. wi-fi lacks on recognizing capability very slow detection. No bluetooth should be standard by now.

Other Thoughts: When selling a refurbished modcel make sure they have at least 90 days manufacturer warranty not 30 left from some other date like this one supposedly was registered in July.

Pros: Processor/APU/GPU is Great for the money. I needed a laptop that I could take to class and play video games, with the preformance of crossfire between gpu and APU there was never a question of fps in any source game/sc2 on med settings etc.

Cons: This computer is made like the trash you expect from china, I've already had to replace the cpu/gpu fan once because It failed. Just recently it started rumbling again this is maybe after 100 hours of use each. This is completely ridiculous how laptop companies think they can get away with putting in their own trash parts because its a laptop... I would not recommend hp products in the future.
TL/DR: Low quality HP components cost me 150$ for two years of use not including the cost of sending it back to hp if you don't now how to tear apart the whole laptop and re-apply thermal paste etc(many people would not be willing to do this)

Pros: like new works great

Cons: needs more memory for peak performance
