1 out of 5 eggsWorn Out

Pros: None

Cons: This laptop is a lease return. Meaning it is almost worn out with a formatted hard drive and a new load of windows. No video drivers or any other software. Stay away from this

1 out of 5 eggsDon't buy this..not a good one

Pros: None to specify

Cons: These are used laptops not refurbished as advertised. Initially ordered 3 weeks back and received very used laptop with scratches and dents. After speaking to customer representative, sent it for replacement. After 3 weeks got the other which is much worse than the first one. The battery is broken, charger is not from Dell.

Other Thoughts: Do not buy these laptops

3 out of 5 eggsUsed, not Refurbished

Pros: Not an overall bad laptop for the cost. Thankfully, it has Windows7 rather than 8.

Cons: This is USED, not factory refurbished. The only thing that is refurbished is Windows, and that is certainly from a batch install. It has Intel graphics, and yet also has Nvidia 3D Vision installed from that batch. It wasn't cleaned in any way, and even has something sticky around the rubber pads of the lid.

Other Thoughts: Worth the money for a cheap laptop (paid $299), but understand that it is not refurbished in any way other than a new Windows7 license. It suits what I'll be using it for. Just be aware that it is a USED laptop (with wear & tear) if considering a purchase.

1 out of 5 eggsRefurbised Dell Latitude E4310

Pros: Sorry, none.

Cons: The current major components, that is, hard drive, optical drive, graphic card, etc. are no longer original. Dell support did an analysis of the existing components. It recommended the existing hard drive should be replace because it is not suitable for this laptop. This laptop was refurbished by a third party (not by Dell), hence the major components are not well-known.

Other Thoughts: My advice when purchasing refurbished PC/laptop or any product, ask for refurbished by the manufacturer. Also, get the complete specifications (brand names of components) of the PC or laptop. No wonder when this laptop was on newegg.com, it did not give the complete specifications.

1 out of 5 eggsNot Worth It.

Pros: Great Specs for the Money.

Cons: It would be nice if the description described this product correctly letting everyone know that these laptops were used and will most likely come scratched and beat up.

The windows 7 software is a joke. They did some type of batch install for Windows 7 so when you start up your computer you will see that not all the drivers are installed. My Laptop was missing the video card driver
Their system recovery software just converts the laptop back to the way when you first received it still with missing drivers. The recovery software is even using a "sample software" company logo. Not Professional. There is also no physical recovery disc nor a way to create one.

Every time I pick this laptop up i hear it make crackling noises and I think I am breaking it.

The video card seems limited to 32mb which means Windows 7 aero will not work.

Don't let bottom review fool you, This laptop does not have a light up keyboard.

I have also noticed that the Intel Management Engine Bios is locked with a password that I can not get around.

Other Thoughts: I have never purchased anything refurbished before until I saw this laptop on newegg on sale. As soon as I opened the box I was disappointed.

The first thing I noticed is that the laptop is scratched up. There is even a scratch across the screen.

Then I noticed that the hard drive wasn't screw(ed) in.

This is definitely not a refurb. I even noticed that when I went to write this review they changed the product description to say "Off Lease" which would definitely describe its condition. Had I have known this I would not have bought it.

The Dell Service Tag was missing from this unit but I was lucky enough to have the software detect my service tag so I can get drivers for it.

The bottom line is that based on the condition of this laptop I do not know I can can trust my data on it.

Also they sell this laptop with a cheap USB memory card reader. What is that about?

1 out of 5 eggsVery disappointed

Pros: N/A

Cons: It is definitely not a manufacture refurbished. It shows sign of heavy usage, scratches and worn out, and dirty keyboard. What is even worse, there is a line consistently showing up on the screen, which made me really disappointed. This is my first time purchased a laptop on newegg, and won't be any more.

1 out of 5 eggsA piece of junk

Pros: N/A

Cons: If I can rate it with zero star, I would definitely do that. It is much much worse than a refurbished one. It is dirty, scratched and shows signs of heavy usage. What even worse is, the screen is damaged. A line is consistently showing up on the screen, from top to the bottom.
I would say, save your money. Do not buy this!

1 out of 5 eggsNot good New Egg!

Pros: Great specs for the price.

Cons: I purchased a REFURB as advertised not a USED product. These laptops are clearly used with scratches. Even the Dell service tag was worn and almost not visible. Not Cool Newegg. Every refurb I have purchased I have been satisfied with the like new quality just a shorter warranty. This machine is probably an off lease product. At least Tiger Direct shows it as an off lease.

Other Thoughts: Buyer beware.

1 out of 5 eggsNewegg*** Is HORRIBLE at Refurbished

Pros: Keyboard and screen were in good shape

Cons: Other than keyboard and screen, everything was horrible. I RMA this product the second it got to my doorstep.

Other Thoughts: I'm a newegg loyal customer for more than 4 years, but since I received this refurbished laptop, I am sad to say I'm not be doing anymore business with newegg. This laptop was in the worse shape ever. Dents, scratches, even the cover screen was covered in a silver gray laminated tape to hide the odd cosmetic. Why sell as manufacture refurbished? This laptop does not qualify to be a "manufacture refurbished" laptop. Do your research next time newegg? Don't ship me another damaged laptop, cause I'm just going to return it back ASAP. I'm so disappointed with newegg, seriously don't send anymore damaged laptop. Thanks

1 out of 5 eggsbroken....

Pros: the only pro is fast shipping

Cons: i am really surprised that i would receive such a low quality product from newegg. the laptop won't recognize the adaptor , so it wont charge at all. also the laptop showed strong sign of wear. the track rubber ball is literally melted on the keyboard. also the residual glue on the laptop as well as on the power adapter.

Other Thoughts: Newegg should really check the proudcts from 3rd party vendor, in this case from metropc.com . this is not acceptable.
