5 out of 5 eggsIs A New Lenovo Fan

Pros: 1) Core i7

2) 500 GB 7200 rpm Hard Drive

3) The stand that attaches to the laptop is ... it ... it just brings tears to my eyes. You can attach it for a ludicrous amount of extra USB ports, your optical drive, AND you can set the laptop on a soft surface without fear of overheating the computer, since this puts the cooling fan exhaust about 1" above the surface the laptop sits on.

4) Love having the eraser head on the pen that my old HP Touchsmart was lacking.

5) The viewing angle of this monitor is a dream. In tablet mode and viewing OneNote at an angle, I can see the ruling lines perfect. I couldn't on my Touchsmart.

6) The way the touch-pad and the joystick is set-up ... and the many ways to left click or right click ... I would be surprised if there was somebody out there that couldn't get comfortable on one of the myriad of ways to operate the touchpad and/or joystick.

7) Without the base the laptop functions, and it is very slim.

8) Bluetooth, fingerprint reader, camera, stereo microphones, this baby has it all.

9) This is probably the best, most comfortable keyboard I have ever seen on a laptop. I haven't experienced any fatigue at all with this one.

Cons: 1) It wasn't the backlit keyboard model (wasn't advertised that way, was just hoping I would get lucky).

2) The 4 GB included RAM will need to be upgraded in ... probably the next year or two.

3) The default setting for tablet mode is portrait (for whatever reason), but I was able to change it in the Lenovo Tablet settings.

4) Shipped with aggressive power saving options on plug-in (I set everything to max-performance when plugged-in).

Other Thoughts: The cons are still not enough to knock this down an egg. I can always add RAM myself and I didn't have to pay Lenovo an extra $200 to add another 4 gig stick.

Changing the options that should have been set the way most people will set it up was a nuisance but again, no big deal (it is obvious whoever set up the stock settings never really used this in depth).
