4 out of 5 eggsGreat choice

Pros: I bought this laptop on sale after both my desktops had broken down. It is a great machine for the price and can easily run videos and some light games like WoW, TF2, and Minecraft. The webcam works spectacularly when I do long distance calls to Europe on Skype. All and all a great simple laptop for on-the-go, and I plan to use it after I get another gaming desktop built.

Cons: Some of the few problems I did have was with that thing called Windows 8, while its not as bad as the cancer known as Vista it still has flaws that I just don't understand how Microsoft could allow. If your used to that handy-dandy little start button on the bottom then you're in for a shock. The only other issue that I can note is the button-less mouse pad. It can be quite easy to click when scrolling or moving the mouse. Though this problem didn't bother me much because I use a wireless mouse most of the time.

Other Thoughts: I would recommend this to anyone in need of a simple jack-of-all trades laptop.

4 out of 5 eggsDecent laptop

Pros: Decent specs for the price, looks good too. Can play most games as well as run a ps2 emulator.

Cons: The left CTRL key pops out sometimes and the touchpad is incorrigible. Dual video chips leads to some driver conflicts.

Other Thoughts: Overall the flaws are forgivable for the price point. When both video chips successfully work together, games run well.

2 out of 5 eggsTerrible Touchpad

Pros: The machine is well made, has a great keyboard, and speakers, is powerful enough, and is inexpensive.

Cons: The touchpad is unusable. The integrated button don't work, and sometimes recognize a click as moving the mouse instead. It is impossible to disable the edge-swipe feature that brings up the charm bar without completely uninstalling the touchpad drivers.

Other Thoughts: Due to the intolerable touchpad, I am sending this machine back to get a cheaper Intel based model with actual buttons on the touchpad (and hopefully no edge swipe feature). I would avoid this machine because the touchpad is a dealbreaker.
