1 out of 5 eggsNot even for free

Pros: Low price (expensive paperweight)

Cons: No drivers for windows OS (or any other that I can find.
Camera is very low resolution.
Slow and unresponsive (Lag)
Short battery life
Slow to charge

Other Thoughts: Wanted to use it to keep .pdf operation manuals portable from site to site. Have not found an adequate driver to allow my desktop to recognize the A2107 (not even as an external drive). The only way to transfer files would be to email them to myself and download to the A2107.

1 out of 5 eggsTerrible Reliability

Pros: None.

Cons: Installed with huge amounts of bloatware. Slow. Poor build quality.

Other Thoughts: I bought three of these and gave them to my nieces in Taiwan as presents. Within 3 months two of them died. One constantly overheats and shuts down. The other just stopped working.

My Sister-In-Law contacted several Lenovo facilities in Taiwan and all of them refused to even process an RMA because "It's an American product". So now we are debating sending them back to me so that I can send them for repair, or just throwing them in the trash and buying Nexus 7's as we should have done in the first place. Definitely my last Lenovo purchase.

5 out of 5 eggsI Love it!

Pros: Comes with minimal bloatware. Display is clear with good color. Battery lasts 11 hours of web surfing or movie playing. Plays Netflix as good as my set top box. some people have said it is slow, but I think it works as well as my Acer Netbook with the Atom processor. I use the daylights out of it, and it has functioned perfectly. Wifi works well, no issues. Micro sdhc slot was interesting to find under the small upper part of the back cover, which slides off when you use 2 fingers and 2 thumbs to squeeze it and slide it off. This small panel also covers the camera lens cover. Many good features for this price point. My first tablet as a trial to see how useful they are. Speaker output is quite good for the size. I loaded tons of apps, and still has room on my 8GB drive. The 16 GB micro SDHC is a really nice touch. Recharges quickly. Backup and restore feature is excellent! This is a great product, the unsung hero of Lenovo. If the rest of their stuff is as good as this thing is I may become a believer. The screen brightness is nice, and easy to adjust by placing the back two knuckles of your pointer finger sideways on the screen and sliding it up or down. It takes a little getting used to but works. I discovered it by mistake. Easy menus for all adjustments, once you figure out the kind of oddball icon for settings. Will run while recharging and never gets hot, not even warm. Has been dropped on the carpeted floor of my bedroom a few times when I fell asleep using it, and no problems. Kindle app works well but the app itself is not quite as good as the one my Kindle 3G came with. However, the color back lit touch screen is a HUGE plus.Sliding pages and chapters is a MAJOR improvement over the 3G. Touch sensitivity is as good as my Samsung S3 cellphone and not as touchy. It has a good balance this way. Haptic feedback is a nice touch. Less sensitive screen rotation than my Cellphone which is fine with me because it doesn't keep rotating when you don't want it to. It just waits a second or two to rotate. You do not have to bang it on anything like a previous post said. It recharges with any standard micro usb plug charger, like the one from my old Blackberry phone. Nice. All in all I would buy it again in a heartbeat!

Cons: Went off sale before I could get one for my wife!! And man is she jealous for it! ARAAGH!
Looking hard for another one now. I do admit that it is a little bit slower than some of the expensive Tabs, but it never falters, and the wait is miniscule. I refuse to tie up $500 or more for a tablet that has an equal or LOWER reliability rating than this one does, and won't do any more than this one will. This is the price tablets SHOULD sell for. If you want something better get a netbook or a laptop. AND I like this thing better than my Netbook!

Other Thoughts: It seems a bit heavy due to the large battery, but I would NEVER give up the run time for a smaller battery! You can run movies on this thing for a whole plane ride to Europe! Case seems sturdy enough, but I notice the glass screen is not completely covered around the edges, you can feel it if you run your fingernail over the edge, so I will need to get a good case for it to make sure the glass screen edges are covered and don't break. Would be nice if I could find a silicon rubber cover like I have for my cellphone.

3 out of 5 eggsSolid Entry Level

Pros: There is a MicroSD expansion slot, and I filled it wit a 32gb card. It reads and writes fine -- been there for a couple months. This does everything I ask of it, which isn't a whole lot. I can RDP all the Windows computers in the house. I control my HTPC via wifi app and my presentations on the laptop via bluetooth. Kindle and Google Books pages are crisp and clear. No problems opening Office documents.

Cons: The viewing angle is VERY particular for just about every app (thankfully, Kindle pages don't suffer from this). The MicroSD slot WAS difficult to find, but the real problem was that I needed to Google in order to find the service guide (PDF). Why on earth this isn't sitting on the "desktop" of an OEM IdeaPad is beyond me. In fact, the guide didn't come from Lenovo's support site either Someone else found it and posted it on a forum. Thank goodness! It's quite difficult -- surprisingly so! -- to hold this tablet for any length of time without accidentally pressing one of the volume buttons...and sometimes even the power button. This is a minor annoyance rather than a game breaker. Touch screen isn't very responsive in comparison to various cell phones

Other Thoughts: what I would look for in a more expensive tablet is something like my Motorola HD Maxx: Its touchscreen is much more responsive. It's viewing angle is much more forgiving. It has HDMI and USB out. And I never press a volume/power button by accident. Nevertheless, the A2107 is an entry level tablet for grown ups. As such, it's a decent balance of price and performance.

4 out of 5 eggsAverage

Pros: Small and functional. Good screen, plays every video I have tried to watch thus far, Micro SD slot up to 32 GBs, to access you slide the back cover up where the rear camera is. I have had no problems running any apps. No force closing or compatibility issues with anything I have downloaded. Including a Playstation 1 emulator, all the games I have tried have run flawlessly even with increased frame rate on.

Cons: No USB hosting. I purchased one of those keyboard/cases for this tablet, with the needed OTG usb to micro adapters and no keyboard I try works with this tablet. I can get bluetooth keyboards to pair but those also fail to input. (Both work on my other tablet) If there is a way me and the people at best buy couldn't figure it out.

Other Thoughts: If your buying this outright for basic on the go apps like games and videos this tablet works well, and I would recommend this tablet, Or the upgraded 16gb version. If your looking for something more portable for typing documents and such I'd suggest finding something else.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Tablet

Pros: I really like this tablet. I have had zero issues with it, and the speed seems to be just fine.

Cons: The memory card location was a rough one, and this tablet's reviews take a beating for it. Once you find it under the back cover, no big deal.

1 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Good Price, reasonably well featured

Cons: Bricked after a week in light service

Other Thoughts: System integration seems sloppy. The Bluetooth accessories I tried would pair but not actually function. I had seen a few problem reports but thought them to be the usual random failures. Lenovo probably has some damage control coming on this one. The system development QA on this one stinks.

1 out of 5 eggsVery Dissapointing

Pros: Its fine when it works. It only worked about a day for me.

Cons: It stopped working after a day.

I got this for my son and he was pretty happy about it, but then after a day it stopped working.

Tried a lot of stuff that I found on forums...nothing has worked so far.

Other Thoughts: Returning this immediately.

I would like my money back

If you want an over glorified paper weight from lenovo, by 10 of these you will be set for life.

Stay away from this tablet. Get something dual core that's a little bigger. These tablets have a really bad layout, and when their battery or processor over heats, everything around it over heats.

5 out of 5 eggsNice Tablet

Pros: This tablet is nice. Compared to my wife's Samsung Tab 2.0, I would take the Lenovo any day. Great resolution for the price market, and smooth processing.

Cons: I still can't find the darn micro SD slot, but it has to be here somewhere.
