1 out of 5 eggsGreat untill 8.1 upgrade

Pros: Awesome having a regular OS. Does everything I expect it to.

Cons: None that I can think of if you stay with Win 8 OS.

Other Thoughts: Update to Win 8.1 made it impossible to charge when the keyboard is attached. Called Lenovo with this issue and they acknowledged it was a known issue and then asked me to pay 89.00 to downgrade back to Win 8. Until there is a fix for the issue I would not recommend purchasing if you are going to use the Lenovo keyboard with this item.

2 out of 5 eggsMove On

Pros: Small size and light weight, good battery life

Cons: Firmware is buggy , processor is sluggish, hardware is flimsy

Other Thoughts: This thing has been buggy since the first day I got it. First the camera won't work, fixing that crashes something else. The refresh won't fix it so I do a full reset. Now it won't update properly. I'm moving on and leaving all of windows 8 behind

4 out of 5 eggsAcceptable Tablet for Clearance Price

Pros: The 11.6" screen is great. Resolution isn't bad.
Responsive touch screen.
Running full x86 Windows (not an ARM processor)
It is pretty compatible with "ancient" windows software as long as you run in compatibility mode.
Decently fast.

Cons: Sometimes can be slow to "flip" or "rotate" events, and about 3% of the time (very rarely) has trouble sensing that it was rotated.
Windows 8 is a pain, but the free upgrade to Windows 8.1 was acceptable.
USB port is in the worse place. End up using the tablet upside-down (a little OCD about that hehe).
I've experienced some wireless issues, but nothing that really affected performance.

Other Thoughts: In general, I wouldn't pay more than $350 for a tablet. Since at the time of purchase, this tablet fell under that price level, it was definitely a good deal. Would not spend any more on it though.
I've had good experience with Lenovo and will definitely use their products in the future.

4 out of 5 eggsLenovo K3011

Pros: This tablet PC runs full windows 8 on an Intel based processor. A large screen makes everything easier to read and click on if you have larger diameter fingers. Allows for a touch pen to write or click or do whatever you need for whatever application you are running. This tablet has a great battery life and that life can be expanded with the OPTIONAL keyboard dock (NOT INCLUDED).
This Tablet is upgradable to Windows 8.1 which now runs flawlessly on this device. The windows store is beginning to grow similar apps as the other bigger mobile device stores and make this both a productivity and entertainment tablet.
The micro SD expansion can handle a 64GB Ultra High Speed Class I, grade 10 cards, which makes for exceptional storage and recall characteristics.
This has a micro USB extension cable that converts to USB type A female so that wired devices such as printers and external storage devices can be utilized.
Mini HDMI output allows for connection to a larger screen to display movies or whatever is desired in the capabilities of that department.
3.5mm headphone jack supports wired headphones with microphones for video calls or recording your voice.
Bluetooth capabilities connect to a wide array of devices.

Cons: When I had windows 8 on this device it would on rare occasions hang and throw a bluescreen error. Since I have updated to 8.1 I have had no bluescreens.

Other Thoughts: Overall, I am really happy with this little tablet, it does everything I want it to and allows for a remote desktop connection to my desktop when I need to pull up a file that I forgot to load on it when I am in class. I purchased the OPTIONAL keyboard dock from a different store that was close to my hometown so I could utilize the keyboard/touchpad and gain an extra 8 hours of battery life from the extra battery within the keyboard.

4 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Price, got it on sale for a little over $300
Nice Display
Full Windows 8
Very responsive touch screen

Cons: Keyboard is a little hard to find for this size (if you don't buy the bundled one)

Not sure if it;s just mine, but occasionally it does some funky things when trying to pair with a Bluetooth device, the screen will freeze, and everything in the device center will become unresponsive, yet I can still press the home button and everything will function there.

Other Thoughts: Still too early to tell if it was worth the buy.

4 out of 5 eggsAffordable windows tablet

Pros: I bought from Newegg but refurbished version and this tablet is according to price it is affordable and it is not Windows RT but full Windows 8. Full operating system with compatibility for all programs.

Cons: No keyboard dock included- That is additional cost and Keyboard dock is costly. I had problem with the device- video playing was not smooth. There was time lag in video playing. If you touch browser or word document, onscreen keyboard will not pop up automatically like android device. You need to touch keyboard Icon.

Other Thoughts: I returned this device to newegg. There was strict condition that only return for replacement and no refund. I was expecting replacement. When that item reached to Newegg, they were sold out and Issued me full refund Which is not fair. Newegg has promised me return for replacement and when they were sold out and they also increase price, They issued me refund. This is not fair on newegg part. I am valued customer since 2008 and I have bought several items from them in past and I was not expecting that Newegg will issue me refund instead of replacement. I returned that device for replacement

3 out of 5 eggsAdequate. Average.

Pros: It was fairly cheap when I bought it from Lenovo directly, and they had a deal with the keyboard dock for additional $50 so I thought it would be a good grab since it has full Windows 8 (not RT), 64GB storage, and an Atom with HT. For around $350 total i thought this would be a nice tablet compared to some of the others out there for more.

Cons: It's cheaply made. I've experienced some graphical glitches on occasion both in Windows and on bootup. I'm not sure if this is a hardware problem or just Windows 8 being Windows 8. That OS in of itself is pretty bad but that's not the fault of the tablet. They keyboard dock has to be the cheapest part of the entire ensemble, it's so flimsy it bends underneath your key presses, the charging port becomes very finicky after some time and the cable has to be just-so in order for it to actually charge. It's impossible to plug in the charging cable to the dock while the tablet is docked itself, as the micro-USB port can't supply enough juice to charge it while you are using it. I resorted to charging the keyboard dock and the tablet separately since this was more effective.

The touch pad is an utter joke. The left and right click buttons are integrated for some reason into the touch area so that every time you try and click on something the cursor moves since the pad is overly sensitive. This is the most frustrating thing about this unit but again, you are not required to buy the dock to use the tablet but I wanted to make prospective buyers aware of the issues inherent to it. At $50 more, it's ok but at the MSRP of $150 I'd have returned it. Anything more than $299 for the tablet is also too much.

Other Thoughts: If you get it on sale and don't expect much from a quality or fit and finish standpoint, then you'll probably be ok with it since it does do most anything a normal laptop can do thanks to full Windows 8. But this being my first Lenovo product, I would never spend more for anything else they make if this is what can be expected from their build quality. Just be aware, in this case you get what you pay for (and maybe slightly less in some cases).
