5 out of 5 eggsWorks great with Win 8

Pros: As others have said this works great and is in excellent condition could even tell it was a refurb. It works well with windows 8 64bit. I upgraded to 4Gb of ram. This is only the pen version (no touchscreen) but the pen works really well for taking notes.

Cons: The battery last long but thats also what makes it heavy. The laptop itself is light but the battery is kinda a brick

5 out of 5 eggsQuite pleased!

Pros: Came in excellent condition for a refurbished unit, only a few scuffs on the lid. Nice battery life so far, around 6 hours, and it can even barely chug out some Binding of Isaac which is nice on the go. For anything that isn't gaming or VM's, this laptop is absolutely the way to go. Also plays pretty well with windows 8, just have to install some windows 7 drivers

Cons: Few and far between, the HDD that came with the unit refused to defragment past 25%, not sure if it was the drive or my defrag program. There were also a few scuffs on the lid like I said above, no big bother to me but definitely present.

Other Thoughts: After installing an ssd and 8gb of ram this little laptop really flies, I couldn't recommend it enough. Do keep in mind that this is the pen-only version, the touch version doesn't appear to be sold here.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Looks almost brand new
Actually a refurbished laptop. New battery and stylus judging by what it looks like.

Cons: I can't think of any.

Other Thoughts: Like a previous reviewer, I originally had my eyes on the X61 but after reading all of the negative reviews I decided to give this X200 a try. I opened the box and out came a new power supply, battery, and the computer itself.

There are only minor scuffs on the entire body and they aren't even that visible. The trackpoint looks new as well. With this model, they meant refurbished! Happy I pounced, should be great for class notes.

The first thing I did was install Windows 8 and it seems to run fine. Just get the tablet button drivers from the Lenovo website and you'll be off to a great start.

5 out of 5 eggsx200 tablet - replaces x60

Pros: excellent condition (looks almost brand new)
truly a refurbished or new computer
Windows 7
great screen compared to my x60 tablet

Cons: none yet.

Other Thoughts: I was going to buy that x60 for $ 174, but the reviews were just awful. Spending the extra money on the x200 was a no brainer. This computer looks almost brand new. I could not be happier. Works just like the x60, but a lot nicer.

5 out of 5 eggsSo far so good.

Pros: Arrived in great condition for its age, works fine with Windows 8, LED-backlit screen is nice and clear, 7200RPM HDD

Cons: 8-cell battery is chunky which keeps the computer from fitting regular 12-13" laptop sleeves

Other Thoughts: Arrived with a free RAM slot so it was easily upgraded to its 4GB max.

While the 7450 model is available with and without a touchscreen, the 7450-8HU here is pen-only.

For the full hardware specs do a search for "PSREF" to get Lenovo's system reference doc and go to section CML1-2

3 out of 5 eggsHow do I turn on the touch screen

Pros: Except for one thing, the unit is working great so far. My first tablet and I'm enjoying how well the digital pen works. Really appreciate how much longer the battery lasts compared to my old laptop (5 hours vs 90 minutes). Am glad it's Windows 7 and I can use all the programs I use on my Windows 7 tower pc. The conversion b&f between laptop and tablet modes is smoother than I expected… just rotate the screen and lay it flat.

Cons: Touch screen doesn't respond to the touch of my fingers or thumbs. How do I activate that to work? I'm really looking forward to using that feature.

Other Thoughts: Would have rated it a "5" because overall I really like the unit, but rated it a "3" because I'm concerned the touch thing may be a physical defect rather than just a software setting issue.
