Cons: Inexpensive laptop but the disappointing part is the very poor customer service from Lenovo. This laptop started having intermittent problems freezing up and disconnecting from wired & wireless network.

Contacted Lenovo support who issued an rma and I paid for shipping it to Texas. Received the machine back after 2 weeks with the solution: "Re-installed Windows 8 pro. System Passes all hardware and functional tests. Windows is activated."

It was purchased with Windows 7 pro for a reason. Now I have to spend more time restoring the OS to Windows 7 and the worse part is most likely the intermittent problem has not been addressed.

I guess I will call them on Monday and complain, but I would avoid this model.

Pros: Outstanding price for what is advertised. First thing I did before even starting it up was to upgrade the RAM. The laptop runs like a champ

Cons: Advertised as a Windows 7 Pro laptop. Very true that it comes with win7 pro installed; however, I was unable to find any Windows 7 COA anywhere on the laptop, not on the bottom, not even under the battery, and the only recovery media provided is Windows 8....As far as I can tell, if I ever have to reload this laptop, it can only be with windows 8 unless I go buy an OEM Windows 7.

Other Thoughts: Is this a one time only load of Windows 7? If so, how did Lenovo provide is with out any product license code, COA, to make it legit? Sure, it's already activated, but again...where's the COA? (Certificate of Authenticity) ... It makes me feel a bit uncomfortable, to be honest.

Pros: Tough Quality yet very light and portable. Its 15" and its portable and lighter than my work laptop thats a 14". Great screen resolution and quality. Processor is fast. Comes with Windows 7 64 Bit Professional. Also comes with Windows 8 64 Bit Professional Upgrade CD. Audio quality is great. Mouse pad is super intuitive and responsive. Battery life is excellent with maximum performance. Fan noise is low. Not a lot of heat. Very durable construction while being very light.

Cons: RAM. As the previous review...the system does not have enough RAM. I knew that when I was buying it as I build PC's and knew that I was going to upgrade the RAM for cheap. Its 2GB DDR3 while only 1.5GB is usable. The rest is used for caching. As many know Windows 7 64 Bit Professional uses more than 2GB just running the system. I tested with the 1.5GB usable, and running sites and normal applications really produces a bottleneck. You NEED to upgrade the RAM. The price is right but you need to understand that upgrading the RAM is necessary.

HDD is fast. Doesn't come with a lot of crapware. You don't really need to uninstall much. Its a 5400RPM Seagate Momentus. Lot of buffer so its boots fast and loads quickly when paired with more RAM

Other Thoughts: I added another stick of DDR3 4GB PC12800 RAM. It recognizes it as Dual Channel because its the same speed with stock RAM. The I3 processor does not support DDR3 12800 RAM but the HM77 MOBO does. It just downgrades the speed of RAM to 800MHZ but in reality RAM speed doesn't cause a bottleneck unless if you are doing extreme bench marking.

This thing is fast! with the RAM upgrade its super fast. I paid $15 for the 4GB RAM and its a night and day difference. YOU NEED TO UPGRADE RAM to unleash full potential. It doesn't cost much and its super easy.

I use this for programming and some light photoshop. Its super fast and for the price you cannot find anything better. The guy before me...I know its slow but if upgrade usable RAM its night and day!

Pros: CHEAP!

Cons: Turned it on, extemely slow ( Yes the specs are slow) However, after 5 minutes of operation and 1 windows update. The infamous Blue screen of death appears
