ThinkPad T Series T410 Notebook Intel Core i5 2.40GHz 14.1" 4GB Memory 250GB HDD DVD±R/RW

Pros: Heavy duty, but still relatively lightweight. Good sized keyboard. Seems brand new (is refurbished). Built in light for keyboard use in the dark. Pretty good speakers---for a laptop.

Cons: One time I had trouble getting the charger to stay connected in the back of the computer. I would prefer if the charger plug were on the side.

Other Thoughts: I still don't know what some of the buttons do, they have unfamiliar symbols and the comp didn't come with a guide. I downloaded drivers from lenovo website and touchpad scroll now works.

Pros: night light, volume buttons, spill channels, i5, reputable brand, durable

Cons: battery life about 2 hours

Other Thoughts: I was over using my 6 year-old heavy & slow laptop. My research pointed me in the direction of Lenovo for many of the Pros listed. While I have yet to really test it (waiting on my Office disk), so far it has been solid, superfast, and a huge upgrade for me. For my job, as well as for surfing, shopping, Skype, music... This laptop is a solid choice!

Pros: I have a T420 (purchased new) and thought these would be great for some of out reps. Thicker overall than the t420 (likely diff between LED and Flourecent lid) but Thinkpads are really well built

Cons: I know these are refurbed, but not don't well, at all. Scratches on screen, marred palm rest, the lid had an adhesive re-cover that was peeling on the corners, and then there was the fact that both machines were missing rubber feet/ pads!!! And not like all of them, odd numbers so when I set the unit on a desk, it wobbled! I have bought refurbished Lenovo desktop machines and been happy, but these were re-worked by a supplier that didn't care. Shoddy work and the machines I recieved should have been passed over. Thankfully, Newegg Rep granted a full credit and even sent a return label.
