1 out of 5 eggsIssues with keyboard and autorotate

Pros: Sleek, very beautiful design. Rubber-isque coating on keypad side to help with wear when in tablet mode. Battery life is pretty good for such a small form factor, about 4 hrs doing work and listening to music. Very nice vivid and sharp screen. The flipping screen seems trivial but I will admit is a HUGE plus...

Cons: Bottom line, it still seems to be in development stage: rushed out too early.

Auto-rotate function, the main selling point of the yoga series, is tantalizingly broken. It will refuse to rotate sometimes no matter how much you fidget with the switch. Rotating screen positions also seems like a catalyst for keyboard errors.

The keyboard goes rogue on you and turns on and off whenever it wants, even when you have had it sitting in regular position without any rotation. Sometimes it thinks the ctrl key is being held down, sometimes a shift key, other times it is just completely off for no good reason.

These issues are plastered all over forums and there are workarounds that you shouldn't even have been bothered to do in the first place. You will find yourself having to save and shutdown/restart in the middle of a project a lot.

How did these very basic and critical flaws ever make it past in house testing and QA?

Other Thoughts: Windows 8 takes some getting used to. I recommend removing all the pre-loaded apps and creating your own start menu app shortcuts.

5 out of 5 eggsExcellent Ultrabook, Good Tablet

Pros: Fast
Sleek
Good Battery Life
Decent WiFi Performance
Can do some Gaming (See Other thoughts)
Lightweight for a laptop

The rotating display is very nice! The screen is a good quality.

Cons: Heavy, bulky, and large for a tablet (not laptop)
Sound buttons don't change based on orientation

Other Thoughts: This is a very good laptop and a decent tablet. The Intel HD4000 graphics can do some light gaming. I'm able to run Civ 5 with touch enabled on low settings and get about 3 hours of battery life.

I would definitely recommend this laptop to others. It's design is sure to turn heads in a good way!

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Experience

Pros: my use is a 70% laptop, 30% tablet so this is a perfect device. I hear whiners about the keyboard and the flexibility. I don't have any qualms, it just works. I slapped a 256 gig in the spare side. I got the i7 with 8/128. Runs cool, I also use for development which can put strains on PC, it handles everything fine. This thing is a monster. I have two extra 27 inch screens and I prop up the 13 in "stand" mode in front of my full keyboard/mouse.

Cons: The only thing is some shortcuts, like insert. I wish Microsoft would include a first time video tutorial btw. I had to go to youtube to find one. I got mine on a deal, but you could consider this a little pricey, not apple pricey but up there, still very well worth it.
