5 out of 5 eggsFantastic Top

Pros: Vibrant Screen
Amazing Performance
Thin!
Back-lit Keyboard (look way better in person compared to the picture)

Cons: Fingerprints everywhere, the brushed aluminum just attracts it.

Other Thoughts: Ive been looking around since the Win 8.1 update and the consensus is: Make sure you update your bios before upgrading! The Hard drive is a little lack luster because of the speed but simple upgrade will fix that.

Other than that a great buy!

5 out of 5 eggsGood Machine

Pros: Overall I am pleased with the performance of this laptop. It runs games well and the dual graphics cards are great! Under load it does get warm, but this is to be expected of any PC. Handles everything I throw at it and never had any issues. Also upgraded to Windows 8.1 without issue

Cons: Still no UltraBay accessories that I can find.
Touchpad is ok, but I do not like how the "buttons" are part of the touch surface.

Other Thoughts: Overall this was a great value and I am please with this purchase. Extremely fast shipping from Newegg as always!

5 out of 5 eggsInexpensive, thinest gaming laptop

Pros: 1. Powerful GTX 750m SLI - almost equivalent to GTX 560TI
2. i7-4700QM boasting WEI 7.9
3. Full HD LED display in 15.6"
4. Almost half height of other gaming notebook.

Cons: 1.Despite it's thin, the overall dimension is big considering it's 15.6" model. Size is 15.2" x 10.2" x 1.4". It doesn't fit my lovely TUMI 'Alpha - Large' Expandable Organizer Computer Briefcase
2. Non-aluminum case - it's plastic
3. Keyboard backlit is red.
4. Oversized power adaptor : 6-3/4 X 3-1/8 X 1-1/4, a weapon size.
5. Terrible HDD. I had to replace it with 480GB ssd.

Other Thoughts: What I would recommend to this laptop,
1. Buy a sdd and forget about HDD.
2. Pull out 2X4GB ram modules and sell them on an online market - you know what it is. Feed it with 2X8GB
3. That's it.

5 out of 5 eggsYou can purchase a ultra slim external DVD drive & swap out the 1T HDD for a 250GB SSD

Pros: i7, 1920x1080, SLI 750, 15.6", USB3.0, metal shell, swapable/interchangable ultrabay.

Cons: Slow 1TB HDD - reportedly,
Doesnt make you pancakes

Other Thoughts: Ive been looking at this laptop for a few weeks now and to me $1000 is a ton of money. However Ive learned in Laptop land $1k is chump change. This laptop I feel is the best bang for the buck. My plan is to swap out the 1TB HDD for a 250GB SSD drive. Pick up an external DVD/CD rom drive - install Win7pro x64. If I need more storage I can always pick up a WD Passport external drive thats USB3.0 capable for high speed transfers.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Laptop if you upgrade it.

Pros: Quad Core, 8GB of ram, Dual Graphic's card (Can play Skyrim, Guild Wars 2 and Tom Clancy Blacklist on Ultra high)

Beautiful screen and keyboard is amazing.

Cons: Windows 8- This slows it down the computer itself.
Hard Drive- 5400rpm is very slow and takes a while to load things

Other Thoughts: I upgraded this laptop to a Samsung SSD 256gb Pro and it is now fast as lightning. I also installed windows 7 and it work great. 10 second boot and click on Firefox browser and it pops up.

I recommend this computer to those a=who are gamers but need mobility for School.

5 out of 5 eggsFairly nice laptop!

Pros: SLI
Full HD 1980x1020
Backlit Keyboard looks cool
Strong Gaming Graphics

Cons: Slow HDD
No disc drive so I'm stuck with windows 8. :[
Can get on the warm side
15" screen

Other Thoughts: Throw a BlueRay burner, a SSD, bigger screen, windows 7 and you got a perfect laptop.
Overall worth the price.

5 out of 5 eggsIm in Love

Pros: Backlit keyboard
screen (matte!!)
power button... power icon with little white dots making it ( idk i think this is awesome)
feel of the keyboard
ultrabay
dual GPU (runs BO2 at 90+ FPS runs BF3 good at high(dont know an exact fps))

LOOKS!!! this thing is S-E-X-Y!! (although it does attract finger prints very much, but idc its still sexy!)

Cons: the hard drive sucks..... takes so long to load and just slow....
i put in a samsung 840 pro 250GB and WOW takes about 10 seconds to get to login and after i type in the password about .25 seconds to load up to desktop. i was waiting for applications to load and stuff with the old hdd trust me put in a SSD and you will not regret it

5 out of 5 eggsBest bang for you buck

Pros: I ordered this laptop to replace my old cheap laptop.... WHAT A DIFFERENCE! I am a flash and mobile video game developer and work with art alot. So I needed some real screen. The screen is gorgeous. much better than the 1366X768 screen I used to have. I also do some video editing and I am a huge gamer. I can finally play some BF3, Medal of honor warfighter, Crysis, ARMA III, and can't wait for BF4, titanfall, and maybe a little plants vs zombies garden warfare! These speakers are loud and crisp. The highs and lows are great and I cant wait to do some sound editing for my future video games. The keyboard is pretty nice and the trackpad isnt as bad as it's fed up to be. Just make sure that if you game to turn the trackpad off if you use a mouse. it will interfere.

Cons: -The metal is verry finger print loving and will take some hard wiping to clean. luckily I dont care about that because it's a beast.

-Newegg used Ontrac for my shipment and their tracking info is kinda vague.

3 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Nothing significant to add other than what others have already said. CPU is a margin faster than the 4702, but uses significantly more power and heat. Dual graphics are the big crowd pleaser here. Sturdy, backlit keyboard.

Cons: Know up front that the one single difference between this model and the upgraded model they sell with the SSD drive is that despite the motherboards being the same, Lenovo has INTENTIONALLY removed the M.2 adapter plug from the second bay in this model. It's still labeled "SSD" in huge letters, has the screw holes for the adapter, and the solder pins are all there but there is absolutely nothing whatsoever you can put inside it. Either their profit margins are SO incredibly low it's difficult to believe they're still in business as a company saving on penny engineering, or this was an intentional giant middle finger to their customers. I'll leave it up to you to decide. Either way, you're going to be stuck with a single 2.5 inch SATA bay.

4 out of 5 eggsY510P - lenovo direct

Pros: This laptop packs a lot of punch into a small form, nice HD screen, the matte back is nice, I can run most games i have tried at highest settings, the sounds on this is amazing for a laptop, last one i had to compare was an HP DV7 with built in sub, and the Lenovo blows its sounds quality away.

Cons: Huge power brick but i guess i would assume that since its running dual video cards, it gets a bit hot with out a cooler, again dual video cards, the glossy bezel around the screen and the laptop over all gets prints all over it. the 24gb ssd is kinda a waste i would have rather had a larger one and the os installed on it.

Other Thoughts: This laptop I feel is amazing for the money
