5 out of 5 eggsGreat budget gaming laptop

Pros: This laptop has served me well for a little over two years now, and is still going strong.
Runs Fallout 4 well, along with every other game I've thrown at it.

Cons: It could use some more RAM, but that's a pretty simple upgrade if I ever got around to actually doing it.
The stereo speakers don't seem to work quite right. It seems to only play one side of songs, if you know what I mean.

1 out of 5 eggswarranty work did not fix issue, computer still doesn't work

Pros: Great graphics and great for gaming

Cons: I bought a 2 year warranty for this item, I sent it to repair company involved in my warranty. They sent the computer back without fixing it. They claimed it was a software issue when it is clearly a hardware issue. The computer still won't boot up even with recovery discs. I called newegg customer service and told them what happened. About a week later they sent me an email defending the warranty people. I have bought from newegg for years and will never buy from them again if they do not resolve this issue. I would give this zero stars if I could. The customer service was terrible!!!

4 out of 5 eggsLong-Term Review: Overall I'm Satisfied.

Pros: As far as pros go, there are a ton, too many to list here really. If you're buying this laptop you already know how the specs are, it runs really well and is an absolute powerhouse. Some other pros you might be interested in are:
- The Keyboard.
The keyboard is something I didn't even really think of when I bought this laptop. Turns out, it makes a huge difference because now when I use other laptops, I mess up all my typing. The keys are curved on the bottom to prevent you from pressing multiple keys at once, and it really is a bigger deal than I thought.
- Always-on USB
This baby lets you charge your phone when the laptop is closed, it's awesome.
- Keyboard backlight
Tons of compliments, and it's different than most people's white backlight.
- Amount of ports
Has enough ports and different hook-ups than I've ever needed, even with various gaming peripherals.

Cons: There are a decent amount of drawbacks, but I've been able to overlook them.
- Heat
Apparently this thing kicks out heat. You won't notice it, but anyone to your sides will, as this spits out heat on both sides like a furnace, thanks to the dual graphics cards.
- Overall construction
The material this thing is made out of is complete trash. It is plastic almost all the way around, aside from lid and around the keyboard. My back cover is broken in one corner, and my headphone jack fell in and I never replaced it. Just annoying.
- BATTERY LIFE
It is rated at 3 and a half hours of battery life, mine gets about 1 and a half hours. It sucks.

Other Thoughts: Overall I WOULD recommend this to a friend (both of my roommates have the same one). It has issues but overall it is a powerhouse and thus I can overlook the small things.

1 out of 5 eggsTerrible HDD

Pros: Overall good performance until the HDD was dead.

Cons: After one and a half year, the HDD started to stop spinning occationally when the system boots up and the HDD could not be recognized. After one month under this situation, the HDD was completely dead.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Most of things were good!
This is a gaming laptop, so I5 is good enough for game, don't have to wast money on I7 CPU.
750M-SLI is powerful for games !

Cons: I just want a win7 system with it. I had so much hard time with win8 system.

2 out of 5 eggsNot durable at all

Pros: extremely economical, most graphical power available in its price range. It was nice, while it lasted.

Cons: When people tell you this laptop feels cheap, they mean it.
It creaks disturbingly when picked up and screws rapidly loosen. Ive had it for nearly a year now, and the escape key has fallen off six times, one USB input has completely failed, the keyboard pops out of its socket, and now it refuses to boot up. DO NOT purchase if durability is of any concern to you at all.

1 out of 5 eggsDefective???

Pros: SLI and works... sometimes! Lighted keyboard, and the key presses are really responsive. My fingers can glide over them.

Cons: Windows 8! Errors everywhere, junk installs EVERYWHERE! I've had to restore twice already and it crashes around 2 hours of straight use. It's a gaming computer and I am working school assignments on it. Haven't dared try to play on it, it's just not happening. I have to go to my pc to finish anything, save constantly so I don't lose my work. It is a giant pain.

Other Thoughts: I don't know if I got the bad one of the batch but after seeing all the reviews it really seems like it.

5 out of 5 eggsBEST value for the money

Pros: *ATTENTION IDEAPAD OWNERS* Press "Fn + F6" to disable the trackpad. Now there's nothing left to complain about.

Cons: Oh, yeah... Heads up, expect bloatware.... Lots of it.

Other Thoughts: Such gaming, very performance, much happy. Wow.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat laptop for the price

Pros: 1 Great aluminum case and sleek design
2. backlit keyboard and solid does not bounce while typing
3. Fast processor
4. sli gt750m's capable of playing many games.
5. 1tb of storage more than enough.
6. quiet fan for gaming laptop

Cons: I read a lot of reviews before buying this and I think a lot of peoples problems could have been solved by updating drivers. Out of box most if not all hardware drivers out of date. windows update did not get these you need to go to Lenovo site for it .

my only cons are
1. lack of external volume control
2. odd position of right shift key for me makes it hard to get used to capping letters when I use that shift key.

Other Thoughts: Overall these is the best value for $$$$ you can get. I did research for weeks before choosing this laptop. I looked at acer, msi, HP, and cyberbook. with all those brands I would give up features or power for same price I paid for this.

The week I got this I upgraded to windows 8.1 and went to Lenovo updated all drivers, and its running flawless. I have no issue with SLI , synaptics touch pad , or design.

I highly recommend this but defiantly update everything before you review it should get a lot of bugs out.
