1 out of 5 eggsStay awya if you like the internet

Pros: Size and Price

Cons: Network Card and Bluetooth

Other Thoughts: If you want to use this on the internet for more than a short time look elsewhere. It drops the connection all the time! I've tried getting help from Lenovo but have received no reply.

1 out of 5 eggsGarbage...

Pros: Cheap, Browse the internet, did I say cheap?

Cons: Cannot watch Netflix using this device. The wireless card is so poor and the device so slow that you will have audio that does not match the video shortly into every video I watch. It is not my wireless router because my whole entire house runs on wireless and this is the only device with issues.

Other Thoughts: Save your money, supposedly the Asus Transformer has really good reviews and is inexpensive. This is just an expensive web browser as it cannot handle anything else.

5 out of 5 eggsVery good Tablet

Pros: Works great, impressed with the quality and stability of the tablet. Works great 2gb of ram not much, but if you increase paging size and use ssd as additional memory it works without a hitch.

Cons: Tried to clean surface with the water,it proved to be sensitive.

Other Thoughts: Very well built, budget priced, light tablet.

4 out of 5 eggsBest tablet I've owned so far despite some issues

Pros: Excellent IPS screen, thin and light, 64GB storage, great price refurbished

Cons: Fairly slow processor, cheap feeling switches and buttons, creaky, cheap feeling plastic construction, poor WiFI reception

Other Thoughts: For the price re-furbished, this is a great tablet. The screen is sharp and bright despite it's relatively low resolution. Once I got it updated to Windows 8.1, I was quite happy with the tablet overall. It's great to hold a fully functioning Windows computer comfortably in one hand.

I use it for internet browsing, email and MS Office and it is plenty quick for basic tasks. The battery life is quite good as well; I get 8-10 hours between charging on average. Love Windows 8.1 on a tablet, the new UI makes sense here.

The only things I am not too thrilled with:

1. The tablet is very light and thin, and looks nice, but feels very cheap. The back is cheap feeling plastic that creaks and pops when you hold it.
2. The buttons and switches all feel loose and none of them are actually centered properly. The volume controls in particular are so small, loose and hard to operate as to be next to useless.
3. The WiFi radio is very weak; if I go more than 20 feet from the router the signal drops completely. I have three wireless computers, two other tablets and two cell phones that get a good WiFi signal throughout the house, so I know it's not an issue with the router.

Despite the above problems, I still love the tablet overall. I've been waiting for a small, light Windows tablet ever since the first Pocket PC came out over ten years ago.

I got it for a real good price re-furbished, I would not have been happy with it at full retail price. It's just too poorly put together out of cheap feeling materials to justify the full retail price.

3 out of 5 eggsGood and bad

Pros: Windows 8.1 works pretty good
Screen is pretty good
HDMI works fine
Bluetooth no issues

Cons: Network card stinks, flat out stinks.
combination usb / power cord is terrible idea
windows button on bottom is stupid
forget speakers

Other Thoughts: It is a little larger than I thought it would be. But getting older, that's better for my vision.
Was getting tired of android on tablet, and apple does nothing for me on tablet level. So decided to try Windows. It needs work. Moving a window by touch is fine, scrolling stinks.
So back to tablet. Network card is awful. I get 5Mbps. I connected a USB adapter to it, network speed on that was fine. Just awful there. This may be a driver issue because when I boot it tells me 65Mbps, then drops after accessing internet for a little while.

USB / Power connection is terrible idea. This means you can't charge and use USB at the same time. The USB cable is micro adapter. It works fine, but I bought a right angle one that sits nice on the tablet.

Bluetooth keyboard I had connected fine first time. I ordered a mouse just so I can use this as a regular laptop.

I find that if turn the whole tablet upside down when I put in in a plate holder (when using keyboard for hands down typing documents). That way I can hit the windows key much easier, which is quite handy.

Okay bottom line. I didn't pay full refurb price. Would never consider this at full retail price, that would be a joke. However, I would have been much happier with this purchase at around 180-200 bucks. Given the network issue and bad power connector deal.

Oh and space isn't too bad. After windows upgrade, still have a lot of space to put on key applications you would use. But plan on buying a 32 or 64GB microusb for more storage. You can load programs and other stuff on it.

4 out of 5 eggsLenovo IdeaTab Lynx K3011

Pros: Price, size both Physical and memory. Full windows 8 operating system.

Cons: Software, bloat ware

Other Thoughts: For the money I paid phenomenal deal! Once I removed the anti-virus software that had the system on lockdown and a few other tweaks I have no complaints. I am actually more impressed by this tablet that I thought I would be.

1 out of 5 eggsDead on Arrival

Pros: I had one Lenovo Lynx K3011 tablet and it works fine and I got it for $259.99 and I bought another which was dead on the arrival and I got it for $ 216.95 which was dead on the arrival.

Cons: Second unit which I purchased was dead on the arrival and I requested Newegg to issue RMA on the same day on which It was received. Newegg customer service is superb and they issued me RMA with prepaid return shipping label. This unit is got it for $216.95 only and at this price this tablet is really great if it works. I have question about QC standard of Lenovo. This unit I received failed to turn on. I pressed power switch for few second and there as no response on the screen. I charged tablet for 3-4 hours and it was fully charged- The charging light will turn to white once it is fully charged. Under charging position that charging light will be amber.

Other Thoughts: Lenovo has really poor QC standard and they should inspect thoroughly refurbished product before re selling to customers. Lenovo is number one is sales for computer products [ desktops, laptops, tablets ]. Lenovo is leader in computer but with poor quality standard and poor QC level. I made online chat and also telephonic talk with lenovo for upgrading tablet from windows 8 to windows 8.1 and as per advice from lenovo specialist- do not upgrade to windows 8.1 for Lenovo Lynx K3011. I checke with lenovo for one tablet which I have already bought. The second unit which I got was dead on the arrival. Shame on poor QC standard of LENOVO.

4 out of 5 eggsExcellent Windows Tablet

Pros: A great all-around Windows tablet. Easily upgraded to Windows Pro 8.1. Have had no issue with wireless, Bluetooth, or video. Light weight. Solid feel.

Cons: - Wish there was more accessories\cases available
- Not a fan of the USB\Power on the bottom, but easily worked around.
- 4GB RAM would be nice, but has not been an issue thus far.
- Windows button on the front doesn't seem to work
- Battery life is average
