4 out of 5 eggsLovely little laptop.

Pros: Small, light, speedy in every sense. the OS contains so few bells and whistles that nearly everything loads up promptly and the battery life is excellent.

Cons: If you're not prepared for the Chrome OS and everything being all cloud stored then you're probably not gonna like having a chromebook. I wasn't exactly expecting that everything would be run out of a chrome browser, but I eventually got settled into it and have been enjoying it since.

Other Thoughts: When I bought this I was pretty much just looking for a typewriter with internet access and that's what I got plus a little more. Used this thing until I busted the screen by accidentally banging it on something on the bus. I'm ordering a new one and buying a case for it this time.

5 out of 5 eggsLightning Fast for the price

Pros: -Celeron 1007U; This processor is amazingly fast with the Chrome OS, it makes web browsing and the CPU has Intel HD 2500 graphics, so that means 128 MB of dedicated video, making 1080p video on YouTube a breeze with no hiccups
-4GB of RAM; honestly, I thought maybe 2GB would be fine so I did try it with only 2GB and I must say, this extra RAM helps it alot with speed and multitasking, so the RAM is a must, it also, amazingly, has TWO DIMM SLOTS so you can have two sticks of RAM
-Keyboard; This keyboard was odd at first but overall it has grown on me, very sturdy and gets the job done, compared to my old 10.1" netbook this keyboard makes long google document sessions a breeze
-1366 x 768 HD screen; the resolution is so nice! Thats all I can really say, nice contrast of color and reproduction
-16GB SSD; dont be distraught by only 16GB, this thing boots in ~5 seconds and everything is backed up on your google cloud so its only for the OS
-Chrome OS; Slick, Buttery, Smooth, and solid. Never crashed once.
-Overall Build Quality; This thing is light, in just under ~3lbs and 11.6" screen this makes easy into the average students backpack and its really so light you forget about it

Cons: -Battery Life; this battery life is sub-par if you will, its okay for the average video watching and such but dont expect to be away from home for long without the charger, really this is the only "make or break" option for this device
-Trackpad; this trackpad is iffy and I just dont really know if I should get a mouse or not

Other Thoughts: I bought this to take to school and use in classes, it does just that. I love this thing, the only downside is the battery, I mean really, my two year old net-book can run for hours more compared to this machine. So although its great for lectures, I'd say watch the brightness, that's a key battery drainer.
