Cons: - Power cord set up is a bit bulky
- The one I got was a refurb and there's a tiny bump on the trackpad that I can feel when I use it
- Gets dirty easily due to white color
- Colors not very vibrant and washed out, even with brightness at a lower setting

Other Thoughts: I wanted something small, light, and portable in place of my MacBook for when I travel to Korea this summer. My main purpose was to check email and blog throughout my trip. This is perfect for that - and is an excellent on-the-side device to my main computer.

Pros: Great for Students; allows access to Googledocs and YouTube for schoolwork; clear streaming without buffering!

Cons: I would have liked to have received my shipment within 3 business days as shown through Premier.

Other Thoughts: I purchased 3 Acer CB3-111 Chromebooks from Newegg. I was very happy with the product quality! They were refurbished by AcerRecertified and I will always purchase products that have been refurbished by this team! The chromebooks looked brand new, were fully charged right out of the box and worked perfectly! My kids were able to log on to their school work website and start doing their homework and research immediately! Thank you AcerRecertified and thank you Newegg!

Pros: Bought "refurbished" but just like new. My first chrome book and it is great for taking with me on the road when I want a light, small device with real keyboard for email and internet access (when I do not want to carry my heavier 15.6" laptop). Very fast on any wireless network. Very inexpensive for what you get.

Cons: Not really a "con," but inherent in any chrome book is that you need wireless internet access to operate -- there is no hard drive to be able to work off line. But I am almost always able to find a wireless hot spot to use.

Pros: Surprisingly capable Chromebook despite its relatively meager specs. Refurbished item came in non-retail box with cords secured with rubber bands, but other than that it looked and ran like new. Bluetooth 4.0 enabled.

Cons: Is not running Windows a Con or a Pro? You decide. There's no getting around the small screen being a bit of an annoyance, but it comes with the very light weight, easy to carry form factor Note that in this model, the RAM is soldered to the mainboard, so forget any plans for memory upgrades. Bu that's OK, it's fine as is. As with all Chromebooks and Chromeboxes, you need access to the internet either through Ethernet cable or wireless.

Other Thoughts: A Chromebook or Chromebox is ideal for someone who just wants to do email, internet, Facebook, and play rudimentary games. No need to do backups or updates or fuss with antivirus programs. With the Google ecosystem, you have access to Gmail, Google Drive, Google Docs, Maps, and a host of other apps through the web store. Get yourself a Bluetooth speaker and you have yourself a small music player. If you want a small Chromebook, there's no reason to buy new with this refurbished deal.

Cons: Poor display, no volume on sound, can't hear at all.

Pros: Chrome browser will be your home, lots of online apps, extremely fast thanks to running on a Linux based kernel. Due to the way Google has this locked down similar to an android phone if you don't hack it you are going to be very virus resistant and for people that only browse the web, watch videos, and play a few browser based games then it will be perfect. It is also great for someone on the go who just needs to have access to a computer or cloud-based applications. I am personally using it for cloud-based development and so far it's a fairly good experience. I think where this computer shines is in it's simplicity and price point for the average joe.

Cons: You will not have much storage space and desktop applications you will have to get used to doing without on this thing. While you can use an SD card to give you additional space unless you boot the Chromebook into developer mode and either run Linux inside the same kernel as chrome(this is actually not hard to do) or install Linux on your chrome(for most people I wouldn't recommend), you will probably not be seeing any desktop app love.

Other Thoughts: If you are looking for a cheap, fast, lightweight computer for a user who only browses the web then this is the perfect laptop for them!
