Pros: Rotating screen is really nice, switching through tablet mode and laptop mode is fluid
Sharp display responds well to touch and has a lot of touch sensors

Cons: Key broke off very quickly, putting the laptop in tablet mode leaves the keyboard exposed. F4 key fell off very quickly and the mount which holds it on broke immediately
Screen is very fragile. Screen shattered after resting a small object on it.
Limited warranty does not cover physical damage

Other Thoughts: Overall I think this computer would be a great item to have. I love the ability to switch from tablet to laptop instantly and the tablet mode works great.
Unfortunately the tablet mode uses different apps than the laptop mode so for some programs, example evernote, you have to download an app as well as a pc application.
The screen is incredibly fragile, after very short use (5 days) I set an xbox controller down on it and woke up the next morning to find the screen cracked. This damage is not covered in the limited 1 year warranty so make sure you are getting a physical damage warrenty when you buy this product. I am not sure a screen protector would have prevented the damage, as the laptop was closed and the xbox controller was placed on top. This leads me to believe that the screen will break from normal wear and tear like carrying in a school backpack. Make sure to treat this device very well and you should have no problems.

1 suggestion I have is to use a stylus instead of your fingers so as not to leave marks on the screen.

Pros: Light weight, nice screen, nice keyboard, cool flippable lid, power button on the outside (great for docking stations).

Cons: Loaded with bloatware (but what isn't?), a little slow to boot, no CD/DVD.

Other Thoughts: This was supposed to be my wife's new laptop. It seemed like it was going to be nice until it installed a Windows update (which took close to an hour) that rendered it dead in the water. Called Acer tech support and the rep could barely speak English. Finally ended up doing a factory reset (another 2 hrs, plus another 1-2 hrs to restore all our data from backup). Whatever happened to computers that worked out of the box for more than a few days?

EDIT: This laptop ended up being DOA. It only worked for a few boot-ups before it either froze or would not accept the password. After THREE factory resets in two days, I finally returned it. Still waiting on a status.

Pros: Touch screen works well..
Enough horsepower to do most everything a lower-end laptop should be expected to do.

Cons: Haven't found any yet.

Other Thoughts: I would recommend this laptop to a friend. It works well and seems to be durable.
