Pros: I have been looking to upgrade my 5 year old Toshiba laptop which has been great for business and other normal functions but couldn't play ANY of the newer games I downloaded off of Steam. After extensive research, I found this awesome gaming laptop from Newegg at a great price! Most laptops I researched that had similar specs were going for at least $999 or higher (on sale even.)
- Latest gen Skylake Intel core i7 6700U
- Nvidia GeForce 945 Graphics card is awesome it can play games such as Dragon Age Inquisition, Witcher 2 Enhanced Edition, Skyrim on Ultra setting with little or no dips in FPS
- 1920x1080 resolution screen is decent* (more on that later)
- Large harddrive
- Upgradeable in every way
- Can run multiple Apps at the same time with no hiccups
- Great aesthetics despite what some reviewers have said about it looking cheap
- Light weight, my old 15" laptop seemed A LOT heavier
- Fast!
- Got it here at Newegg...ordered on a Sunday night and received it on Tuesday afternoon! Great job Newegg! I definitely recommend you guys!

Cons: It did have a few nagging issues. I'm NOT at all a computer of=r gaming expert so this is from a "techno dunce's" point of view
- Doesn't save your settings upon waking
- I have to constantly reset things like resolution and caps lock and num lock when laptop wakes...annoying!
- The screen is great but looks a little too yellowish when playing videos and games on the computer screen. It's awesome when you connect it to an HDTV though
- Even when connected with an HDMI cable to my TV, sometimes the sound plays only on the laptop upon waking from sleep mode.
- Same as above goes for games (most especially COD Black Ops) upon waking or when I sometimes change the resolution settings in game. It's very frustratiing!!
- Battery life isn't the greatest (3-4 hours max)
- Difficult to upgrade HDD to SSD and memory cards from what I have read but will do so soon

Other Thoughts: I've only had this for a week and will try to download the latest drivers to resolve annoying issues. Despite all that, I LOVE this computer! It looks good, I can FINALLY play games I purchased months ago on High to Ultra settings even, without any performance issues. Will also upgrade the hard drive to an SSD and also upgrade the memory to 32G.

Haven't tested out the camera or other settings yet so I can't say anything about that. Will run some other apps and will add to my review in the near future. Happy gaming everyone!

Pros: Very fast and quiet, great IPS screen and video card. Super light weight. Great battery life.

Cons: Memory upgrade was not simple.

Other Thoughts: Definitely would highly recommend this to a friend.

Pros: I bought a pair of these for my tweener boys and they love them. I forgot how big a 15" screen is, but it is bright, sharp and uniform. Out of the box it's loaded with some extras, and a with a spinning platter drive, they didn't feel very fast. I did a clean install of Windows 10 from a recovery drive made from each machine onto a Samsung 500GB SSD. It was kind of a pain, but well worth the effort. The laptops boot in less than 5 secs with the SSD and have instantaneous response to clicks. Most importantly they play Arc Survival very smoothly with awesome graphics.

Cons: Difficult to open and swap hd and ram. Battery is built in

Other Thoughts: With just a few weeks of use they seem to be great budget power houses.
